The Carnival Valor, Day one...

We are leaving for Miami this morning and boarding the beautiful Carnival Valor, one of my favorite ships.  My cruise mate arrived last evening fine and dandy and we are ready to roll.  My toes are ready for the inspector.  The first two days are sea days.  That's a good time to find someone to stalk make friends with.  I'll do my best for you.

And hopefully today is red velvet cupcake day on the lido.  It's only once per cruise and I don't want to miss it.  That's my favorite carnival cake.  I'll get a photo for you if I can.  Sometimes my eyes glaze over when I see it and I forget but I promise to try.

Of course there is a storm out there in the gulf now but it shouldn't bother us too much.  I watched the tracking and we are headed the opposite way.

Have yourselves a totally wonderful Sunday.  I sure know I will.
