Sorry to be gone so long. I’ll try to catch you up a bit. I saw two movies. First Bad Moms Christmas which was really good and then Daddy’s Home 2 which was awful.

Chuck is having his hip replacement on December 18th. Hopefully he will be out of pain after that. Poor guy is so miserable.

I’m going back to Dr. Wacks Tuesday and I hope to be off steroids then. My weight is up but it’s really hard to lose on those pills.

Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving!

Bee

  1. I am so happy to see that you are back. Steroids are necessary but ick. Happy Thanksgiving to you too, dear.

  2. I was on Prednisone for 5 days and gained 7 pounds--and I hardly ate anything. BUT--they did make me feel good. No pain anywhere and I was emotionally so happy and high. Wish I could take them all the time!

  3. Steroids are the worst for weight gain. I took prednisone for 7 days for a swollen knee, had a cortisone epidural in my back and a cortisone shot in my knee and have 20 pounds extra to prove it, lol... now the fun starts to loose it just in time for those Christmas cookies.

  4. Well my wonderful friend, I so happy that you are back. I checked every day and today I have a smile on my face. Sorry about the weight again. I've gotten back to losing again. It's so hard this time but I'm going to try again. Once these steroids are finished Bee, I bet things will be back to normal. I'm going to send a card to you for Chuck. I'll pray that his operation turns out well and that he'll have no normal pain. See ya my beautiful friend.

  5. Sorry the Chuck is having such a rough time. I hope the hip replacement will be the cure all for him.

I hope you can get off the medication too and take that weight back off. I'm sure you will. Then you can go on a cruise. That would be fabulous.

Have a terrific day and weekend, Honey. Big hug to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥

  9. Ugh... poor Chuck. I know he's in excellent hands and pray this works wonders for ol' Chuckie Duck.

I have now lived long enough that I can say will a large dollop of confidence that EVERYthang makes me gain weight, apparently (and I mean especially) being happy.

Have yourself a lovely day. Bee good or Bee good at it! :) xoxo
