So I had my hip X-ray and the pain is arthritis so I had to make an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon to see about getting a cortisone shot in the hip. If it works it could be good for six months to a year. I'm really having trouble walking and I'm hopeful it will help me. Getting old is a total drag. Doctor appointments have become my social life now. Blech.
Hope your day is better than that!

I so know what you are talking about !

cheers, parsnip
i hear ya!! Dentist, eye doctor, primary physician... That slip to go have my knees x-rayed is still sitting on the counter beside the garage door. Since before Christmas. I really have to do that. Soon. No, seriously. :D
ReplyDeleteAt least I have my pedicure scheduled. Come on Friday! haha!
Hope your day is lovely! xo♥
I get cortisone shots in my knees every 4-6 months, I hope the one in your hip will work wonders for you. One thing they didn't tell me at first - take it easy for a couple of days after the shot, the effects will last longer! It may feel so good you'll be tempted to do too much the first couple of days. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHope the shots help you feel better Miss Bee!
ReplyDeleteI have all those doctors appointments too. I have my mammogram on Tuesday. Yes, I know you approve of that one.
ReplyDeleteI too have an issue with my left hip. It's pretty good right now, but there are times it's awful. The doctor talked about a shot in the hip when I had my physical a couple of week ago. Hang in there honey. That shot is supposed to be the bomb.
Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥
Bee, That is a beautiful picture. Love it. I pray the shot works well for you. I have arthritis in my ankles and some days are rough. I can tell you, I do not get to wear fancy shoes or heels. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
