So today was a day off from the medical field. I exercised in the pool and did laundry. I am on a very low carb diet as sugar (carbs) feed cancer and I don't want to feed mine. So far I am managing it pretty well. It's a very restrictive diet but doable.

Stick with me. We'll get through it!

  1. I've been bad about checking in on my bloggy friends lately and I'm sorry to read what is going on with you. I really hate cancer. Especially breast cancer. I have way too many friends who have had to deal with it. HOWEVER, I know you will kick it's a$$. Love to you !

  2. Damn cancer!!I have a young friend who just found out she has the BRACA Gene and had a double mastectomy last week. She's doing real well and going to have a hysterectomy next month. Her sister is doing the same thing right along with her. Glad you had a normal day today--sorry you have to deal with this--again!!! I'm glad you are blogging about it because I have no idea what all is entailed.

  3. I can do without sugar, except for ice cream. I love all things ice cream.

You'll get through this because you're a fighter. I like that about you.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hug to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥

  5. Why is everything yummy bad for you? Well, almost everything. Bugger. And I know a little bit what you mean about a day off from medical stuff. Between me & my new dentures, my DH and both of my parents, it is always something. We have a calendar just for the doctors and hospital stuff. Sadly, both of my medicine cabinets now are actually MEDICINE cabinets.

But today is Dad's 88th birthday, the first day of winter AND my very first social security check hits my bank account. Today is gonna be a GREAT day! So I have said it, so it shall be done!! :D

    big hugs, dear one. xo♥
