  1. Oh my goodness. I guess I've seen this before and just forgot. Goodness. If I had to go then I'd figure out how. Reminds me of the Turkish toilets in the safety cells in the jail. I know how those work.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  2. They still use them in Japan. At all of the very clean roadside stops, they have Japanese toilets and English styled.

    cheers. parsnip

  3. They have these in Bali too... only they have a bucket of water to wash your hand off(left hand). It is also why you never use your left hand to give anything to another person in Indonesia, (it may have recently been used as toilet paper!) I took Kleenex with me EVERYwhere !

  4. Yikes, I'd probably pee on my leg by accident. Not good at "popping a squat", as my girls call it.

  6. Oh, that's just a little bit bisgusting. Now if I ever do go there I'm gonna have to pack a boat load of toilet paper and gallons of hand sanitizer.

It does make me wonder though... If THIS squat spot still allowed Siena to be your favorite city, what were the others like. bahahahahaha!

OK. I have to go sanitize my hands now.

    big hugs xoxo

  7. Saw those in Japan, and a friend found one in Paris. Fortunately, I wasn't with her! No.thank.you. I suppose it is one step above an outhouse!

I do remember NOW that Sienna was your fave. We never went there. Maybe next time!

    Big hugs, honey...

  8. Ouch!I remember when I was a young boy visiting my grandparents on the farm and they didn't have a bathroom in the house until later. The outhouse was where you had to go. It was a piece of wood in the shape of a circle where you had to go and some times you had splinters in your butt or since there were bees fly around you, you got stung. Thank goodness, they eventually put in a toilet and water in the house but that wasn't until I was 10 years old. It was tough at times.
Have a wonderful Sunday Bee. See ya.

And that was heck - not neck!
I'VE NEVER BEEN abroad, but I understand that a lot of Europeans consider Americans to be slobs because we don't commonly have bidets in our homes but this thing is the pits.
