Have you tried Envy apples?  I had my first one today. They were $3.99 a pound but honey they are worth the price. I don't know how long the season is but don't miss out.

So we didn't go to the movies but still had a date. Got to know each other a bit.  He's a gentleman and very sweet. Who knows where, if anywhere, it might lead but I'm not expecting anything other than a friend.

Have a great new week. I will too for sure.

  1. Dang it, I've already gone grocery shopping! And I do still have a few apples but not those kind. After Big Lots and Sam's yesterday, by the time I got to Publix I got ONLY what was on my list without so much as slowing down at the BOGOs. And honey it turns out that Breyer's Ice Cream is on BOGO and Al needs more bleach so I added the ding dang Envy apples to my list and printed it out, tyvm.

Glad your 2nd date went well. Or OK. Or whatever. ;)

Have an absolutely glorious week! big hugs xoxo

  6. Opal apples are good too, as are the Jazz variety. There are so many new hybrids out there. Oops! Forgot the Pink Lady ones too! Yum!

  7. I've never tried Envy, but I like both its parents! I have paid $3.99 for Honey Crisps, but now that they've been out for a while, the price has come down. I will look for Envy. Friendship is good. You never know.
