Well Andre' was back yesterday for my hour in the pool and it was a great workout but then he made me do 100 crunches and 50 leg lifts on the lounge chair.  Yikes I was tired.  Also my glasses weren't dark enough, I'll have to wear another pair.  The reflection of the sun off the water burned my eyes and I had to come upstairs and put the salve in them and keep them closed for an hour and then they felt mostly better.

The the darling mayor and his wonderful bride brought me hamburgers he cooked out on the grill last night!  Tits to that for sure!

But the one bad thing, the WCK was supposed to be back today but it's looking more like Monday now because he has more work there.  That's a wonderful thing but I miss him.  That means I'm on my own for the whole weekend.  Hope I don't get into too much trouble.  Maybe Ryan will help me stay out of trouble.  Let's hope anyway.

So May is half over already.  Memorial Day is fast approaching, do you have plans?

Have a great Friday y'all.  I will too, for sure!

  1. I too have to wear very strong sunglasses. The Tucson sun can be brutal.

  2. Good Morning, my friend! Sorry you're plans have been thwarted, at least temporarily. Ask WCK what good it is to be a WCK if you are never home to practice? You know... use it or lose it? hahaha! :)

My friend Anna is coming in Monday from Chicago! Aren't I lucky that her sister Maria just happens to live here, of all places?! There's a graduation party at Maria's house next weekend. I can remember when her daughter was just barely big enough to shuck corn on my patio and now she's graduating. Sheesh.

I am painting cabinets like nobody's business. We just bought a new (to us) house. It's back in the pecan orchard for me again! Yeah! So in a few months we'll move but meanwhile, we're getting this one ready to sell. And just one month from now my parents make their annual summer trek to New England. Gosh, but time is just flying by! I've been working from home for about 9 years now. Honestly, I have NO idea how I had time to do ANYthing when I worked outside of the house. srsly.

Have yourself a perfectly marvelous day! I'll be in the master bathroom painting. big hugs x0x0

  8. Our Memorial day weekend plans include a family cookout, a nephew's birthday and celebrating Megan's preschool graduation which is Thurs. the 21st.

Buggers to WCK not making it home. Can you facetime with him at least? You know what they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder, or makes the lips miss kissing?! Something like that.

    :)

  9. Sorry your Friday plans were derailed. I know you were expecting him back today. Bugger.

We've no plans for the holiday weekend. So were staying home. If you go to the boat there are millions of idiots out. Drunk and well we'll pass on that. The water is filled with many boaters that don't have a clue. The holidays and boating is over for us.

Have a fabulous day and weekend honey. We're heading to Rio Vista on a cruise today so I won't be around much this weekend. Big hugs and my very best to Roche. :)
