My Bee pin from D#1

I hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day.  I certainly did, I got this lovely pin and the duck cooked me a wonderful dinner.  Plus of course I got some calls from Edward (hereinafter known as WCK - world class kisser).

I was able to see him before he left town for some work but he'll be back on Tuesday and I'll see him then also.  We are still taking it sort of slow but things have progressed a bit as I guess you can tell if you real daily.  I still don't know where we are headed but it seems good so far.

So my favorite ship, the Carnival Ecstasy, is moving to Charleston in February so I must cruise again before then because I'm sure I won't travel there when there are so many ports close to me.  Also Captain Barrile is leaving the ship as well, he is going to do exactly what I wrote Carnival about - training the other Captains in people skills.  I will miss him for sure.  He will be gone when I go back I'm sure.

Today I will be at the pool and if I get around to it I need to return five (yes five) dresses I bought, keeping only the sixth.  I think if I put one more thing in my closet it will explode.  Seriously, I must get in there again and remove several lawn and leaf bags of lovely things.

That's it from my world today y'all.  Have a wonderful Monday and new week.  I will too, for sure!

Love wearing pins. I hope they come back.
I have several small diamond bee pins. I would wear one on my shoulder. It was great fun.

  2. Purdy!! And I just had a thought. You could, if you were so inclined, have an actual bee (pin) in your bonnet.

I think I may have to get myself some fabuous floppy hats. I have reached the age where the sun really bothers me much more than worrying about messing up my hair. Which for the last 6+ months has been a mop anyway and hat would improve things. Only now I need a bee pin, too.

    big hugs xoxo

  3. Of course you need to cruise on your favorite ship again before she moves to Charleston. I love that Bee pin, now we need a picture of the one (out of 6) dress that made the cut. Have a great day!

  4. Shoot. You will miss both the captain and the ship when it moves. Absolutely go on another cruise or two while you can. We have not sailed on that one. I wonder how we've missed it?

Cute pin. Just perfect for you.

    Big hugs, honey...

  5. Such a beautiful and thought Mother's Day gift. I really love the bee pin!!
It was delicious vicarious fun to enjoy your cruise along with you and I'm sure you will miss your favorite ship when it moves north.

Your evolving relationship with WCK is such fun. I am 71 and after being alone (a divorce) a long time, I began dating someone I had known for many years professionally and it has become the BEST part of my life. It took a lot of courage, but we both say everyday, that it is the greatest gift to have love, touch and caring as a daily part of life.
Funny, I am launching in to a closet clean-out today. It isn't too bad but there is much to be donated for re-use. It feels great.
    A wonderful day to you!
