Today is Sunday so that means the duck and my WCK will be home either tonight or tomorrow.  He sure has been gone a lot lately and that will, hopefully, continue.  The reason is that he is working very very hard to pay off all debt so he can retire in January.  He has a lofty goal and I respect it very much.  In the meantime I must either be willing to wait or move on.  I knew this from the beginning so if I complain it's my own fault.  He told me all that up front.  I'll decide at some point, not quite yet though.

In the meantime I have my games, my friends, my pool, Andre', and a great life.  I just don't know if I want to sit home at night for that many months.  I guess I'll have to see if we get more involved or keep it light.

That 41 year old called again to see if I'd change my mind but I didn't.  He is quite handsome, it would be nice, but no, I shall see more about my WCK first.

Yesterday's session with Andre' went well and I felt great afterward.  Today the calendar is empty and I love that once in a while.  Mostly I like to be busy but those rare days with nothing to do are a treat too.

I think my eye is improving some.  Dr. Pinsky said it would and he seems to know what he's talking about.  It's not perfect yet but he says it will continue to change for a year.

I saw TCD yesterday and had not seen him in a while.  He thought it was really improved from the last time I saw him.

So I didn't go out with the young man.  It was just too weird for me.  It was flattering though.  And no, he was not after money, he is gainfully employed and doing nicely.  I wish him well.

Do y'all with iPhones use Applepay?  I really like it, simple and so fast.  Just hold the phone next to the thingy and tough your fingerprint thingy and d for done.  Nice.

That's about all the excitement I had in my life for today.  Hope your Saturday is totally tits.  Mine too!  But I'm not...

Today is Friday so that means Andre' in the pool.  

Seventeen days till cruise time.  All by myself, I like that sometimes.  Time to think and not have a care in the world or anything that I have to do, just what I want to do.  No chores.  No one wanting anything from me.  Just down time in my favorite spot on the planet.  Naps.  Dessert.  Coffee on the balcony in the morning watching the ocean go by.  Pure bliss.

The hallways are coming along very slowly, I'm not sure why it is taking so much time.  The crown moulding is up but not painted, the walls have one coat of paint, the old carpet has not been removed and the doors have not been painted yet.  There are workers all over the place.

I'm not sure whether to tell y'all this or not but then I guess I tell you about everything so here goes - and please don't judge me.  So okay here goes... I got asked on a date by a 41 year old guy.  And I didn't say no.  Or yes.  I said I'd have to think about it.  Anyway I have no idea why this happened but he's very handsome and I will admit I am thinking about it.  I told him how old I am and he said age didn't matter to him, that he just wanted to have a date and see what happens.  Now what shall I do?  My WCK is still gone and we are not committed to each other but I never thought I'd even think about dating someone else at the same time.  Unless you count that cute dentist.  Oh my, now I feel like a tramp and I haven't even done anything bad.  Yet.  Hang on, it's going to get bumpy I fear, I guess it's time for me to be...

The pool was fabulous yesterday.  Today I'll be in the ladies card room playing canasta and tonight I am going to dinner with the mayor and his bride as it is her birthday!  I haven't seen much of her since she's been back to work and I miss her.

I did some online shopping yesterday too.  Big shocker there, huh?  Anyway I like to shop online, prefer it actually.

I have not booked a cruise yet but am still looking.  I know I'll have to go by myself but that's okay, I sort of like it in a way.  I am looking pretty hard at June 15th, two and a half weeks away.  Not sure though.

I snapped this while Roche' was napping, he doesn't know I took it.  He doesn't like photos without his little thongs on but I thought he looked cute.

Poker took about half my money but not all of it so that's better I suppose.  And the dinner was very nice.  We do that twice a year.  Well I do it actually but we all eat it.

I think I need to look at cruises.  I'd like to get away next month I think.  Perhaps.  Anyway I plan on at least looking.

Tuesday means poker and tonight is our semi-annual dinner before so I have lots to do today plus I am going to be in the pool and I'm having lunch with a girlfriend that I used to work with years ago.  Many activities today!

Plus my WCK is out of town working again.  This is going to happen often.  I have to decide if I care enough to put up with it I suppose.  No hurry deciding either I don't think, just roll with the punches.

Oh, I didn't tell you yesterday Ryan got in the pool with me while Andre' did the workout so he did it with me.  That was fun.  He did great too.  He is thinking about having Andre' train both of us a few times a week.  But I think we should leave old Ben and Jerry out of this relationship! lol

Memorial Day

The Marlins beat the Orioles 5-2 and I did enjoy the game since I do like both teams.  I didn't care who won and there was lots of action so it was good.

Then last night I went up to Ryan's and we watched a comedy DVD that I had from one of the ship's comedians and it was really good.  Well, actually we ate Ben and Jerry's and watched it but who's watching?

Thank heavens for Ryan, I am so happy he moved into the building.  This photo is a few weeks old but I don't think I ever published it before.

Today I have to go to sports again.  It's the Marlins and the Orioles.  I do know the Orioles having been raised in Baltimore so at least that's something.  It's the annual Fern House event for families.  But honestly sports and me don't get along too good.  Last year I watched the cheerleaders instead of the game.  And drank Cuban coffee shots.  

D#1 is on her way home and Ayla is on her way to see her dad in the keys with her hubby who flew in this morning early.

Ryan and I have taken to having coffee in the mornings at either his condo or mine.  Yesterday he texted to see if I wanted an omelet and yes, of course I did!  He cooked and I cleaned up.  Delicious too.

Then Ayla came (Granddaughter) and we went to the pool for the hour and then did some crunches, squats, and leg lifts so we had a great workout and then went to the club for lunch with the rest of the family.  I doubt the club will be open much longer but don't know what the new owners are planning.  

Then in the evening my WCK came and we had dinner out and a few drinks and talked and it was really nice.  He is really an amazing kisser, truly world class.  He wanted to meet D#1 but she couldn't come so next time he will.

Yesterday was mucho fun, first the pool with Ryan's two friends and then a shower and a nap and then dinner with my WCK which was especially lovely.  We are also seeing each other today too, D#1 is in town and she'd like to meet him so we are planning on going out to dinner.  As I type this it;s midnight Thursday night and I am really tired so it will just be short and sweet but let's just say my WCK is still just as charming and still a great kisser for sure.  Have a great Friday y'all.  I will too for certain!  And maybe a bit of...

Yesterday was a really nice day, I went to the pool and did some good exercise while Steve and Jane were here and then I ran some errands after my shower and it was so hot I thought I'd melt but I did get it all done.

My WCK is supposed to be here today after 2:00.  I hope nothing gets in the way this time but if it does I'll understand.  I never saw anyone working so hard toward a goal and he is driven to reach it.

I was so tired from the heat and the exercise that I ate some early dinner and went to bed completely drained.  We don't usually get days as hot as yesterday was and I like hot weather as you know but that day was brutal.

My pool hat is now large, really large.  It did the trick, my eyes and ears and face were not burned.  I also did an hour in the pool and then 100 crunches, 50 leg lifts and 50 squats on the lounge chair.  I could hardly walk but I did them all.

So Edward has more work and won't be home until Thursday now.  It's good for him, really good, so I won't complain.

Last night I busted out at poker by 9:15 and came home.  That's two weeks in a row.  I am either not getting the cards now or I am not playing as good, not sure which but probably a combination of both.

Today there is no MahJong because only three of us can play so I will swim and then come up.  Steve and Jane will be here shining up the place but it's not dirty.  Just need them to steam the floors and do the windows and stuff like that.

Today I shall be beaten up by the great Andre' in the pool.  I have to be careful now because my face is getting too much reflective sun.  I am now wearing a much bigger hat and bigger and darker glasses but the sun is so strong it reflects off the water.  Don't worry though, I wear lots of sunscreen in addition to the other precautions.

Plus my WCK will be home hopefully today.  Yesterday he was detained on the west coast of Florida with some work issues.  It's all good but it was a disappointment that he wasn't there yesterday.  

The crown moulding is going up on my floor in the hallways now.  The first coat of paint is on as well.  There is still much to do but it is a huge improvement and I can see that I will like the colors when it is finished.  It's still not what I would have chosen but I can live with it for sure.

The duck's date went very well he said.  I told him he should call her.  He said he texts her daily but I told him to call too.  It doesn't have to be often but we like to get the calls, at least I do.  So cross your fingers that he might have found someone special.

Paradise, truly paradise.  I can sit on my balcony and watch the painting in the sky morning, noon, and night and it's never the same twice.  I think if an artist painted this sky it wouldn't even look real but it is.

So yesterday I had a wonderful lunch with the duck and then he had a date last night.  I haven't talked to him to see how it went, great I hope.  

I had several lovely phone calls and texts from my WCK and he should be home today if everything gets wrapped up.  It may be late though, don't know yet but he has promised me a whole day of his time this week and I am looking forward to that.  I get to plan what we do too.  I am thinking of things too.

Well it's Monday again and I like that but I don't guess most of you do.  Being retired I think weekdays are even better than weekends but they're all good really.

Sunday means lunch with Old Chuckie Duck.  I got a little too much sun at the pool yesterday so I might skip today.  I don't really burn but I am getting too tan I think.  My eyes still burn too even though I am taking extra care of them.  The sun is just so bright and reflects off the water and since I am in the water between half an hour and an hour it's a lot really.  I wear lots of sunblock and eye drops but still.  

Hopefully tomorrow the WCK will be back.  He has called several times a day and texted but it's not the same as being here of course.  

I'm going to look through some of my Bee Bandwagon recipes before I go to the grocery store today and try to kick up my weight loss a bit.  It's just staying the same now.  I am exercising and eating like I have been for several years but the weight is not coming off any more.  I guess I am either eating a bit more or I have to eat a bit less now.  Anyway I'll try some of my old recipes again that I liked so much.

It's the weekend and I have no plans but I hope you do.  I will be at the pool I'm sure though.  The WCK is still hard at work in Naples with his crew.  If I had an ounce of gumption I'd get in my closet but that doesn't look hopeful.

I am still doing my exercises for my left eye but it's still not exactly right.  Dr. Pinsky thinks it will be fine soon though.  I hope he's right because it is annoying me.

I did a mani/pedi yesterday.  Bright red.  No reason, I just thought I'd change it up a bit.

Well Andre' was back yesterday for my hour in the pool and it was a great workout but then he made me do 100 crunches and 50 leg lifts on the lounge chair.  Yikes I was tired.  Also my glasses weren't dark enough, I'll have to wear another pair.  The reflection of the sun off the water burned my eyes and I had to come upstairs and put the salve in them and keep them closed for an hour and then they felt mostly better.

The the darling mayor and his wonderful bride brought me hamburgers he cooked out on the grill last night!  Tits to that for sure!

But the one bad thing, the WCK was supposed to be back today but it's looking more like Monday now because he has more work there.  That's a wonderful thing but I miss him.  That means I'm on my own for the whole weekend.  Hope I don't get into too much trouble.  Maybe Ryan will help me stay out of trouble.  Let's hope anyway.

So May is half over already.  Memorial Day is fast approaching, do you have plans?

First of all I'd like you to to go visit Julie in Miami to enter her contest to win a copy of American Warrior.  It's a great site too!  She's a fun gal that started reading my blog when I was on a transatlantic cruise stalking someone she happened to know.  It was so funny.  I named the pair Fifi and Foofoo and stalked them the whole cruise.  They walked around carrying the Gideon bible from the cabin buying booze and condoms in the shops.  They wore outlandish clothing too.

Last night I got a call from Ryan and we went to karaoke with a friend of his and they both sang really great, they are in a gay men's choir and perform for large audiences and I was really glad I got to hear them sing.

Next I have Andre' at the pool today for another session.  I love the pool workouts.  Actually I love all the workouts.  

Things with the WCK are heating up a bit.  Well more than a bit actually.  It's that voice and those eyes and those kisses, man, that's a great kisser right there.  I wish I could show you his photo but he doesn't want to be on the Internet so I will respect his wishes.  He's still on the west coast of Florida working and should be back on Friday.

Good morning world.  Sunrise is such a magical time of day.  If you sleep through it you are really missing a new painting every single day.  I saw this from my bed, how lucky am I to be able to do that?

Today I have to run an errand for a friend so I may not go to the pool or else I may go early, not sure yet.  Steve and Jane will be here shining up my condo again so that's good.

I got several calls from the WCK yesterday, he is still working on the west coast for a few more days and I will say I am missing him.  His calls are very nice though, that accent is amazing.  I think I'll maybe get to see him on Friday now.

So Andre' came to my pool yesterday for my workout.  We did an hour of hard work and it felt wonderful!  He's coming back on Thursday again.  

And the duck found a cruise he could go on in August so we booked it yesterday.  August 24th to be exact on the Ecstasy again.  We got a really nice balcony cabin on the Empress deck.  On that ship the Empress deck is the Atrium deck, deck seven.  I like that deck the best for several reasons! lol

Edward was supposed to come home today but he got some more work while he was there so he's going to be gone a few more days.  

I never did get to the outlet mall yesterday to return the five dresses I'm not keeping.  Maybe today?  We'll see.  After my workout I actually went upstairs and got a shower and got my nightgown on and just stayed in.  I did do laundry and some other chores but never went out of the apartment again.

My Bee pin from D#1

I hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day.  I certainly did, I got this lovely pin and the duck cooked me a wonderful dinner.  Plus of course I got some calls from Edward (hereinafter known as WCK - world class kisser).  

I was able to see him before he left town for some work but he'll be back on Tuesday and I'll see him then also.  We are still taking it sort of slow but things have progressed a bit as I guess you can tell if you real daily.  I still don't know where we are headed but it seems good so far.

So my favorite ship, the Carnival Ecstasy, is moving to Charleston in February so I must cruise again before then because I'm sure I won't travel there when there are so many ports close to me.  Also Captain Barrile is leaving the ship as well, he is going to do exactly what I wrote Carnival about - training the other Captains in people skills.  I will miss him for sure.  He will be gone when I go back I'm sure.

Today I will be at the pool and if I get around to it I need to return five (yes five) dresses I bought, keeping only the sixth.  I think if I put one more thing in my closet it will explode.  Seriously, I must get in there again and remove several lawn and leaf bags of lovely things.
