So this is what I wore for my dinner with TCD.  We went to the Breaker's Steakhouse.  It was very elegant and he was the perfect gentleman in every way.  I also got to meet his mom and we hit it off really good.  She is really a sweetheart.  I had a wonderful evening.

Back to reality today.  I shall be with the duck today and possibly the pool later.  We'll see.  And then Monday I have Dr. Pinsky again.

I was telling TCD how I had been waking up at 3:00 AM lately and he said I won't heal if I don't get enough sleep.  I never thought of that, I just thought I was tired.  He suggested if I wake up that I take a benadril (is that spelled right?), anyway I said I'd try it.

Have a wonderful Sunday y'all.  I will too, I get to see Old Chuckie Duck!!

  1. Benadryl... Great OTC antihistamine that may cause drowsiness if you're not use to taking antihistamines. I started taking it back in the 70s when it was still Rx only. I had to go the the allergist's for shots for years and was quite pleased the day he told me I didn't have to come see him all the time.

Most of my allergies are much better now. Benadryl (or a store brand equivalent) is what I take an hour before eating shellfish.

    Now I want sea scallops.

You look lovely! And I must say my eyes my have slightly opened wider when I read you met TCD's mother and dinner... ;)

So... how many days 'til we cruise? A week or so? Bring it. I am so ready!

Have another perfect day in "Paradise Bee"! big hugs xoxo

  6. A whirlwind of a week for you! And isn't it great!!! You look very good in magenta? Plum? Not sure, but it's a good color for you...
I hear you about April. I'm not ready for summer, not at all. We're already choking on dust... A lot of its due to Moonbeam and ineptitude, but I won't go there.
Enjoy the week ahead and your day with The Duck!

  11. Love your pink dress! And TCD gave you good advice. Your body needs that sleep to heal and rejuvenate. And since I did not sleep well last night, I'm thinking a nap is calling me today. Enjoy time with the Duck. Hugs!
