New shoes!
I haven't worn heels in some years but I'm ready!
I have a dress I want to wear these with.

Day 30

I lost two dollars at canasta yesterday.  It was a nice game though so it's okay.  And to Mary Sue in New Jersey it's all good.  Thanks for letting me know.

My right eye is still swollen more than the left one and my chin and neck are still pretty swollen but it's going down more all the time.  Nothing hurts. I asked them about the scar on my chin, it's really the only one that shows at all and they told me it will not show after a while but I am not to get sun on it without sunscreen because that will make it harder to fade.

Today I have the duck and then dinner tonight with the mayor and his bride.  Eating out twice in one day, I'll have to be careful.  Plus it's grocery day and my list is pretty long this week.

Perhaps I'll find a bit of pool time too, that would be lovely.  Have a great Sunday y'all.  I will too for sure!

  2. Ok, try #2 at a comment.... Lol! Hope this one sticks!
I can see a huge difference today! Gorgeous! I'm envious of those cute shoes... My size tens can't handle heels. I'll either fall off them, or they look too funky... So I admire them from afar. Be sure to show those pretties an adventure!

  3. Nice shoes! I can no longer wear heels but I still think they look pretty. (Autocorrect stuck an "ing" on the end of "pretty". Really? I don't think so...) Anyway, have a great Sunday, enjoy your time with your son and your friends. Hugs!

  4. Yes, I'm really seeing a big difference! You're almost there!
I love your sandals. I always wore heels until I blew out my knee. There's nothing prettier tha a fine pair of stilettos!

  5. I have never worn heels. Ever. Don't expect that I ever will either. First of all, I was born tall (25-1/2 inches!). Second of all, they make my back and toes hurt. They do look cute though! Plus? There' the whole "I hate wearing shoes in general" thang. But you go right ahead!

Have yourself a funtabulous day! big hugs xoxo

  9. Love the shoes. I can no longer wear heels. Well, I never could but I did it anyway for a time.

It was brave of Mary Sue to identify herself and apologize. Sometimes written things don't come off sounding like they would said in person.

Some day you need to share you tip for taking selfies. I can't seem to do it.

  10. Bee, I have major shoe envy !!! I love heels and used the dance all night wearing them. But now I am doing well in a nice pair of flats. LOL. I would call those taxi shoes...from my front door to the taxi. You look better today. Kudos to Mary Sue...I knew she could not be just a mean person. , happy about that. Glad you are not having any pain. Hug Duck for us today. Enjoy your meals, you know how to trim the fat off everything. LOL. I know you will have fun, you are an up beat person. Love that. xoxo,Susie

  13. Bee.

Those shoes are almost as beautiful as you. I rarely do much of a heal and if I do it is usually a chunky heel so I feel a bit more secure. I love the look of heels, but my feet have never been big fans. You continue to look better everyday. Yes, I think we need a selfie tutorial. Enjoy your day, we are supposed to be making our laundry detergent here.

    Hugs,
