Day 24  still some swelling, not too bad.

Wahoo caught yesterday!

So the duck cooked me an amazing meal, it is rare to get wahoo and it was cooked perfectly.  One of the guys at the Fern House caught it.  And I got lucky enough to get to eat some of it!

Then I was talking to Edward and he was still working and I asked him if he had eaten and he hadn't so I asked him if he'd like me to bring him a sandwich and he was very happy about that so he didn't have to stop and could get more done.  Next date is Tuesday.  Still baby steps, still very nice.

Today I have my appointment with Dr. Pinsky and I think he will be happy with the progress.

Then sometime soon I have to make TCD his birthday cake and drop that off plus I have to make muffins for the mayor and the governor - well I don't have to but I said I would and I do enjoy baking and since I shouldn't eat it this is the perfect solution.

And that, my friends, is all I have in my head today.  Hope your new week is marvelous!  I know mine will be, that's for sure... Why?  Well because I'm

  3. I've never had Wahoo before either, in fact I've never even heard the word before. According to a google search it's a pretty desirable fish for gourmet cooks. Learn something new every day.

  5. What the heck is wahoo? Don't forget that I'm a Canadian and buffalo meat is still eaten in Canada. Ha,ha,ha. Chuck takes good care of his mother. Good for him. So you're going to feed Edward. Sounds like the the baby steps are growing up to toddler. LOL. Have a great Monday Bee. See ya.

I've not heard of that kind of fish, but it sounds like it's a treat. Good for you.
