All external stitches and staples are gone.  It didn't hurt a bit either.  I was a little afraid because the last time hurt a good bit but that was the eyes and I guess that's more sensitive, anyway no pain at all.  Then I came home and sat out by the pool for my half hour, all alone, then I had a WONDERFUL shampoo.  I mean I have washed my hair every day but you really couldn't get it all with all that hardware around so that felt amazing.

Then I got a call from Edward and we chatted a good while.  He is in Orlando until Sunday night with his friends.  I asked him if he was having a good time and he said there were sixteen of them and there was way too much booze and he would rather a smaller group and less drinking but yes, he was enjoying being with them. He's very sweet and the accent is really nice but who knows?  No rush.  No kissing. It's nice getting to know someone though.

Oh, I have been cleared to drink now.  I haven't yet but now I can have a cocktail if I want.  Still nothing else though.

Then I had a short nap and another call from Edward.  He's getting to be quite the little flirt I must say, anyway that was another hour.  Finally he said he had to go see his friends and I told him to have a lovely time and I'd talk to him another time.  Then he told me to text him later.  I don't have a photo of him or I'd show you.  I'll get one for you though.  He's not really what I would call handsome but very sexy looking, bald, not really tall, built very nice, athletic, 62 years old.

Are you tired of hearing about him yet?  Kidding!

So that was my day my dear friends.  Hope yours was as interesting as mine was, if so you were very lucky indeed!  But I am not really MissBeeHavin'.  Yet.

  1. Such fun! Edward sounds as though he just might be a tad enamoured. And you are really coming along wonderfully!

  2. Sounds like your day went quite well! Especially flirty calls from Edward!

And yay for a good shampoo!

I've been letting my hair grow out since that horrible awful terrible worst haircut ever that I got in November. It won't do anything good at all. But as awful as it looks, it still isn't as near as bad as that haircut looked so I keep toughing it out.

    Oy.

Have another funtabulous day! big hugs xoxo

  3. I hope that Edward is better then that German guy. I still worry about you. Isn't crazy, here I am 1000 miles away and I worry about my lovely friend Bee. I know, I know, keep my mouth shut. Anyway, you are such a brilliant woman, you'll know what to do but sometimes the heart can trick you. Oh well, I'll keep my mouth shut now. So now you can drink Whoope. Ha,ha,ha. Have a wonderful Saturday you gorgeous doll. See ya.

  4. It's always exciting to have a new, interesting person in your life. But I'm with Paul. I worry, too---lots of gold diggers out there in our age bracket. But like Paul's says, you're a smart woman and you'll know how to spot the genuine from the fake the more time you spend together. In the meantime, have fun with your new man-toy.

  6. Okay Paul mentioned that German guy and he just disappeared didn't he. He went on a trip somewhere and that was the last we heard about him. Edward will be home soon.

I'm glad all the stitches and hardware is gone. I so remember that first really good shampoo. Things will really start happening now. You'll see.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. :)

  9. I worry because, having dated quite a bit, he's 62 and...well you aren't. While "they" like to say, "Age is just a number", they still would prefer someone 10 years younger than them. Just saying. You are a wealthy widow--lonely at times--wanting someone to tell you how beautiful and fun you are, because all that makes you feel good, but.............just be careful. There are so many men (especially in the rich areas of Florida) who know exactly what to say and do to hook a vulnerable, wealthy woman.

    1. Don't mean to be a party pooper, but Bee, I've been there and done that, as the saying goes. Sometimes you don't see it until the hook is in so deep you deny to yourself what you know isn't quite right.
