Now all of my doctors have a coffee machine but Dr. Pinsky goes further, much further.  Not only is there any kind of coffee you could want there are also ceramic cups, not styrofoam, and the napkins are embossed in gold with his name and there is water and lots of kinds of sodas as well.  Of course for what he charges I would expect no less.  My appointment was over two hours with photographs, measurements, instructions, and when I got done he hugged me!  I was surprised but pleased.

I'm not sure what I am going to do today because it is supposed to rain all weekend.  Maybe I'll cook or let my fingers do the walking at some shopping sites or do something I should do like my closet or my freezer or my pantry all need cleaning out.  They are just not jobs that I like to do so I put them off.  As long as I can actually!

Oh, I forgot to tell you Dr. Pinsky said no gym for six weeks and no pool for six weeks.  That was almost enough to get me to change my mind but I didn't.  It will go by fast but I sure will miss both of those activities.

Have a wonderful Saturday y'all.  I will too, I just don't know how yet!

  1. 6 weeks? Can you still ride your bike? Probably. My Vet has a Keurig with all kinds of stuff, too. Last week I may have accidentally popped an Earl Grey tea into my bag to try later that afternoon.

And it was good, too. ;)

It's really chilly here again. Bugger. So in a while I will shower and head out to a new thrift store I discovered and then back here to paint something.

Enjoy your day! big hugs xoxo

  2. I've never seen any kind of beverage in a doctor's office. I wonder if it's just a Florida thing.

What about riding your bike afterward, will you be able to do that or be out in the sun?

  3. Neither my doctor nor my dentist have anything in their offices allow me to enjoy coffee or tea. You Florida people are lucky. All we get are snow & cold. Ha,ha,ha. Six weeks of nothing especially the pool. What are you going to do? Can you play cards?
The doctor hugged you also. You must have some kind of relationship with doctors. My doctor just puts his finger in my butt when I have a physical but he does smile after. Ha,ha,ha. I'm so crazy this morning Bee.
Have a wonderful morning, afternoon & evening my gorgeous friend. See ya.

  4. Whatever he tells you to do do it. You don't want to adversely affect any part of the surgery. And don't rub your eyes either. You'll love the new you and after six weeks Andre won't even know who you are. You'll love it. I think you can walk after a bit and that's a good thing.

Have a fabulous day honey. We're on the back of our boat having coffee. The sun is shining and it's a beautiful morning. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. :)

  7. Now I understand the six week thing. Hang in there. After the third day you'll ask yourself why you did it, then soon you'll be counting down the days.
