Since you enjoyed the Tiki Hut yesterday here is the other side of it and the putting green behind it.  This is where I walk on my way to the gym.

Today is my day with old Chuckie Duck for lunch and grocery shopping.  We love our time together, no matter what the week brings these few hours are relaxing for him.  He is moving on the 14th into an apartment near the Fern House.  Their Board of Directors felt he wasn't having any time off since he lived there and someone wanted something all the time.  I agree.  He will be a mile and a half away and a mile and a half from me too.  I haven't seen it yet but I did see photos he sent me and it's small and very cute.  I think this is great.  They are giving him enough money in the form of a raise to pay for it too.  I know they are very happy with him.

It looks like I won't be cruising before my surgery after all.  I just can't get it together yet, there are appointments and stuff to do, tests to take, etc.  Anyway I am going again in May with the duck, back on my favorite ship, the Carnival Ecstasy.

It's been lovely and sunny but not hot enough to get in the pool.  The bike, however, is perfect in this weather.

The bloggers cruise ends today.  They announced the next one, it's out of Galveston and I won't be going on it, I am not going to go to Texas to cruise when I have four ports near me.  I don't really care though, it's really gotten too big, it started with about 60 and now there are well over 600.  I don't know how you can do much with a group that big.

Guess that's all I have in my brain today y'all.  Have a great Sunday.  I sure will too.

  1. I'm not going to Texas either. I can't even make myself go to Miami for better ports. I always say the cruise IS the destination for me so I guess I'll just keep doing the Carnival Fascination and Bahamas and hope the dry dock in March brings something funner and excitinger.

Enjoy your day with the duck! And hooray for new (and private) digs! xoxo

  2. Congratulations Chuck. It's about time that people realize the great work he does for the Fern House. He needs to enjoy his life more. Surgery Oh well.
I agree about the Bloggers cruise. I thought it was big when I was on it but now, 600 and Galveston. It's hard enough to fly to Miami or Orlando which I enjoy but Galveston! I can't wait to go on the Vista. I wonder where it's port it will. I hope it's Miami or Orlando. Enjoy your day my gorgeous friend. See ya.

  3. Gosh, 600 bloggers all on one ship! I can visualize them all sitting on deck chairs with their laptops. You could get lost in a crowd that size.

    Congratulations to the Duck!

  4. I thought the bloggers cruise was was to busy. Too many things to do and it was stressful. I was only interested in being with my blogging buddies and we did that. It was great and so was the cruise. The Hawaii cruise was awful. Turned me off on cruising but good. It's a shame that the right coast knows what to do and the left coast doesn't have a clue. Doesn't. Have. A. Clue!!!

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥
