Cold and windy, yuck.  I know it's not the same as the snow the Yankees have but still - I dislike cold and windy so today shall find me in the card room at the club staying warm with some gal pals.

Also tonight we are having a party in the Condo's Social Room so I get to go out and not have to drive anywhere.  There are over 100 units in the building and several people in most of them.  We have 26 coming to the party.  I think it's a disgrace that more people don't participate in community things.  We try to make them very nice but some people just don't come.

I am planning a New Year's Eve party there for the building.  It's my baby and I plan on having a larger crowd.  I have already started buying things like hats and noisemakers and stuff.  I will do the food and we will have a bartender and some kind of music, not sure yet if it will be live or not yet, depends on the $.  Anyway I am going to put a lot of work into it and if we don't get people coming then I guess they are just party poopers.

No cruises planned until May.  I was going to try to go on a short one by myself this month but it's not seeming to work out.  The duck can go in May so I'll go with him then.

Well this seems like a negative post and I'm sorry for being whiney today.  I don't feel whiney, it just came out that way for some reason.  Now I shall put my big smile on and go have some fun!  You do the same, won't you?

  1. How silly not to come to a condo party.
Love the idea of a New Year Party that you can walk to.
A wonderful built in family of friends to enjoy the evening.
But only if the crazy twins who steal stuff are not there.

    cheers, parsnip

  3. New Years Eve party in February. That's interesting Bee. You are never negative that I know of. I'm a little worried about the cost of our next cruise and flight since our Canadian is down so far today. If it doesn't go up a little, it's going to cost us a pretty penny but I'm still going. During the middle of my next cruise , I will change from gold to platinum. Hooray.
Have a wonderful day you lovely woman. See ya.

  5. It's never to early to start planning a party. I do it all the time and mine are months out when I start the planning stage.

Sorry you're in the cold and all that wind. I hope it warms up soon.

  7. Yes, it is too chilly here but still better than Mayberry. Our park parties are well attended. We missed out on tickets to the Valentine dinner. It is sold out already, but that's OK.

Not going to the Well Friday. A neighbor invited us over for dinner. Maybe next week?

    Big hugs, honey...
