It's Sandy!
I love this gal!
It was a great dinner with Dick and Sandy and sorry, I have no photos of Dick. Oops. But it was lovely and I so enjoyed myself!
Yesterday was overcast so I went to the pool but I didn't get in because it just wasn't warm enough, the water was but not the air so I walked instead.
Oh, and I also got a bike! Yes I did! I'll show it to you soon. It's a used bike, one of the guys in the Fern House has a bike shop and I asked him to see if he had a good used ladies bike with a big seat (that won't slip up my rear when I ride) and guess what? He did. And it's pink! So I have ordered a lock, a basket, and a helmet and they will all be here when I get back from the cruise!
I have never worn a helmet before but I will now. I don't want to knock out what few brains I have left in this old noggin.
Today I am getting my hair done, the toes (of course) and then I have a board meeting at 3:00 and after that I'll finish the suitcase and off I'll go Saturday morning. I know you'll come along with me. I hear the Breeze has a new Internet program and I am anxious to see about that.
Have a wonderful Friday y'all. I will too. For sure!
Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteSuch good times with friends.
Have a great start to the cruise.
cheers, parsnip
I am slightly older than you and I love my bike. It makes me feel like I'm about thirteen years old, so free and happy.
ReplyDeleteHooray! Together! And both y'all look fabulous, even though only one of you is leaving on a cruise tomorrow. WIWT. srsly.
ReplyDeletebig hugs xoxo
Compadres! Or is that masculine? Better stick to languages I know! So glad you two were able to grab some time together. You both look so happy - as it should be. Anxious to see your new bikers stuff. My balance is so bad I don't know if I could ride any more.
ReplyDeleteYay for the bike! That is great! I miss mine.
ReplyDeleteYou lovely ladies look beautiful! (Was trying for a the alliteration, but got stumped except for luscious! Lol)
Hope you have a wonder trip. Maybe next time you can stash me in the luggage!
So glad you got together with Sandy and Dick! Have fun on that cruise. I know you will!
ReplyDeleteI love you Soo much. And Dick does too and that is OK. We gotta do this again after the cruise so I can get all the details. And more hugs. Of course I am gonna follow your cruise, but still.
ReplyDeleteSmiles and big hugs, honey girl...
A wonderful idea Bee, a bike with a lock, basket and a BIG seat. Sorry for the big large but I couldn't miss it. I don't mean your butt, the seat on the bike. Ha,ha,ha. My enthusiasm is picking up when I saw Mary Lou took out luggage for our cruise and she took it out earlier then ever. I guess she's ready also. Have a great day my beautiful friend. See ya.

I can't wait to hear about your bike experiences (and your cruise, of course). I looked at bikes a few years ago and I asked the guy at the bike shop if they could put training wheels on one for me. He laughed but I was serious. I hadn't been on a bike for over 55 years and I was never very good at it in the first place. Oops, he lost the sale.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have been there for dinner last night. It would be grand to enjoy all of your company again. It sure would, since I love all of you too.
ReplyDeleteWay to go on the bike. How fun. Good for getting that helmet too. Safety first.
Have a fabulous day honey. Tomorrow it's off to the cruise and I'm going with you as always. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥
Bee, I am so happy for you. It seems this cruise came around quickly...I know maybe not for you. :) I know you are ready for some more fun with your fellow travelers. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful cruise Empress. Have a bit of creme brulee for me. Oh heck, can't wait to see and hear about your adventures
ReplyDeleteHugs,
