One of my Facebook groups is having a challenge and I thought it was a great idea and I decided to do the same. I challenge each of you to do a random act of kindness between now and next Friday, 12/12/14, and post about what you did in the comments here. And if you want to challenge your friends to do the same that would be amazing. Maybe if it goes far enough there will be many people with an extra smile of their face and an extra spring in their step between now and then. Ready? GO!
Oh, and to the (self appointed) mayor (of the pool): you already did this when you brought me two hamburgers last night that you grilled perfectly out by the pool They were delicious! Kudos!
So yesterday the session with Andre' was strenuous but I did it all and did it well. It was "legs" day. He said he already did my strength training and now he is doing sculpting. Sounds good to me!
Then the pool was amazing afterward. It was warm and the water was clean and pristine and I loved every minute of it.
Today is hair day again and then tonight is the Christmas Concert at the Fern House with dinner afterward. If you are nearby come on out at 8:00 PM, all are welcome!
Have a great day, I will too, for sure!
That picture reminds me of an Amway presentation. Sat through many of those in my day! Only this is much cuter! I'm glad the pool was to your perfection and you were able to truly enjoy it...
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the Christmas Dinner ...
The pay it forward, random acts of kindness challenge is such a cute idea. A couple of months ago someone in ahead of me in a Starbucks line paid for my coffee. It was such a shock and it did make me feel good all day. The person who waited on me said the same lady does it all the time.
ReplyDeleteI do try to do random acts of kindness every day. It makes you feel good to be kind and thoughful. It is its own reward. Right now for instance I am letting two kitties be in my way while I try to use my computer. ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day! big hugs xoxo
Great challenge! And I'm so glad you could enjoy that pool after your workout yesterday. Have a wonderful Saturday -if I were close enough I'd go to the Fern House concert with you. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSo I can call you " legs " from now on. Is that what you are telling me? Ha,ha,ha. I'll just call you beautiful. That will deal with your entire body since you have done so well my beautiful friend. You have no idea what you have done for yourself & others. Your my angel Bee.
ReplyDeleteI like your challenge and I've already completed your challenge. I took my friends, Al & Meilin out to dinner and when it came time to pay Al wanted to pay but I said NO and paid the entire bill. I felt really good knowing that they have been great friends to me and my family for many years.
Have a wonderful day Legs, oops beautiful. See ya.

Winderful challenge. I am already doing something for a small child that is needy.
ReplyDeleteHave a super Saturday.
Big hugs, honey...
I've already done my pay it forward this week. I'll do something else though just for you.
ReplyDeleteA grilled burger sounds mighty good. Yes it does.
Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. :)
I don't go out much but when I do ... I let the car in ahead of me merge, in the check out lane I let someone with a few items go in front and when I go to dinner I always give 20% tip and in December a few dollars extra. And as my Mum taught me I always say please and thank you and add a smile. Little thing go a long way.
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Bee, You are going to have such a great time. I am excited for you. I wish I had me an Andre' . I enjoyed my day with my twins and granddaughters. Blessings for a fun Sunday. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteRandom act of kindness.... Hmmmm. Does giving my old iPhone 4 away count?
ReplyDeleteAndre sounds like an outstanding trainer! It is wonderful that you found him, and are sticking with it! Keep up the good work. It is so worthwhile:):)
