I punched for all I was worth!  Over and over!
And it felt so good!

I had to hold this for 45 seconds.  Three times.
If you don't think it's hard try it!
Even without the weight it would have been hard!

Boy howdy I had a good workout yesterday.  I could not believe I could hold this so long either.  When you are doing something like that believe me 45 seconds seems like a very long time.

Poker didn't go too well but I had a nice time.  And today I'll make my pie crust and put it in the refrigerator for Thursday morning.

If you are counting I am still not smiling either.  Enough of that, stay tuned though.

So Happy Wednesday y'all.  Have a great day.  I will too.  For sure, I always do don't I?

  1. I believe a 45 second hold is hard. In the balance class I was taking 30 seconds was hard and the positions weren't as nearly as difficult as the one you're doing in the photo. Punching looks like fun.

  3. I braved Publix to pick up my fresh turkey I had ordered last week. Don't quote me on this but I am pretty sure I held it for about 45 seconds.

    That is all.

  4. Wow, great workout! Punch away at all things that keep you from smiling. Then tell them (or him) to take a hike and just smile anyway! Big hugs.

  6. Exercise can be very difficult. I believe you because I've done all these things. They are good things though and do great things for your body. Endurance is a good thing.

I'm sorry about poker, but you did have a good time. That's all that counts. Well winning is nice too.

I'm getting the drift that this is week two and nothing is happening. It's not gone unnoticed.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥

  9. 45 seconds of that is HARD to do! I think 60 seconds was my maximum, EVER - and that was many years ago!
You've been strengthening your stomach muscles to do that, and are obviously continuing to make great exercise choices and habits!

Hope the pie crust turns out well, and you and The Duck have a delicious Thanksgiving dinner.

Hmmm, is this some guy who hasn't called you in two weeks? I don't like the silence - and when he does call, he has to have a really really good excuse (like he ended another relationship so he could be 100% available for you) or he isn't worth your time.
Don't let him just show up on and off whenever he feels like it. That is NOT acceptable behavior, and nice guys don't do that. He deserves every whack on that punching bag!

Its better to be alone than to be with the someone who doesn't treat you like a Queen.
The right guy will come along, I'm just sorry he didn't show up already! Keep the faith. It'll happen, and then you'll be so glad that you didn't settle for less.

    Big hugs, dear Bee.
