Last night D#1 and I went to the movies, we saw The Hundred-Foot Journey.  I had heard mixed reviews about it but we both enjoyed it a lot.  Gosh is she ever dumb though.  I told her I was blogging this too.  After the show as we were leaving the theatre she said she wanted to stop in the rest room.  I waited in the lobby and when she came out she was all freaked out.  She said there was a urinal in the ladies room.  The poor dumb thing went in the men's room and didn't know it.  Too funny!

Today I have Andre' again and I shall do whatever he says and then some.  I will not let him get the best of me.  Nope.

So it's Friday y'all.  I know you love that.  Me?  No matter, the days are all good here.  Retired is amazingly good people, amazingly good.  Plan for it because it's worth it for sure.

Have a wonderful day my friends.  You know I will too.  I still have D#1 here!

Anywho, I've done what D#1 did and totally feel for her!

As for retirement, it just gets better and better. I retired at 50 and after 4 yrs, I'm still loving every minute.

Forgot to mention in my mandatory comment, we're snowbirds too!

  3. Daughter #2 is like that - but she beats my socks off playing Words With Friends!
We haven't been to a movie in over ten years, thanks to cable. Now, I'm afraid of getting bedbugs!

  4. Well, as long as she didn't use the urinal I say she's just fine and dandy. No worries. ;)

I put the first coat of primer on my lower deck yesterday in miserable degrees hawt. Another coat of paint Saturday... that's my workout lately as we've been painting the outside of the house (just on Saturdays) for about the past 2 months. It's too hot to work on it any more than that, At this rate I think it might be done by Christmas.

    I hope.

Have a lovely day with D#1. big hugs xoxo

  5. Surprise, surprise, surprise. Our washrooms are about the same except for the urinal. She's lucky that there weren't any men in there or maybe there were. Ha,ha,ha. She's a lucky girl I would say.
Movies, they just don't do anything for me anymore. As soon as a movie that I want to see, the day before, I just give up on it. Say hi to Andre for me. He's doing a great job with you. I'll be leaving soon to the golf club. We have a tee time at 8:52. Gerry will be picking me up in his golf cart at 8:25 so I'm up early this morning. It's still kind of cool this morning and I hope that will warm up soon. Have a wonderful day you gorgeous doll. See ya.

    Retirement is more than fabulous.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs to you and Cat and my very best to Roche. :)

  10. I have went into the men' s room on accident, at an airport, on purpose at a concert venue and thought I did at my new job and had to look again at the door, but it was just the guy that cleans coming out and apologizing profusely. Enjoy your time with Cat, I am so lucky I get to enjoy Bethany everyday.

    Hugs,

    Bobbi
