Between my feet is a five pound weight.  Now that's not much but when you are doing thirty leg lifts with it there and then twenty more without it, honey, it's a lot!  It was a really great workout too.

D#1 is gone and I am sad about that.  I did have her longer than planned so I am grateful but hated to see her go.  Today Steve and Jane come to shine up my condo to within an inch of its life and that's a very good thing.  I am not messy and there are lots of things I like to do but windows, floors, stuff like that are not some of them.

Poker was called off last night because there weren't enough players again.  That's two weeks in a row that happened.  But soon we will have too many when the snowbirds come back.

Not sure what I'll be doing today, there are no games this week because of the Jewish holidays but have no fear, I'll find something fun to do.  You know me, I always do!

Have a great Wednesday y'all.  I sure will too.

  2. Look at you go, girl! I haven't been using my weights lately but I have been doing lots of outside chores and house painting and stuff so I am pretty sure that counts. Lots of sweating and lots of gatorade for this gal.

Glad you had a lovely visit with d#1. big hugs xoxo

  3. I couldn't do arm lifts with a five pound weight! Well, maybe a couple... My yard work is my exercise, but that's not a whole lot. Now that it may be cooling down a tad - below 90 - I may be able to start walking. My boy dog needs to lose weight, too. His vet has been angry with me...
Hope you get some games going. Sorry to see D#1 leave.

  4. I wish I had a workout routine like you have and could actually do it. I'm too out of shape and the gyms around here are so expensive. You're doing great!

  13. Bee, you are doing so much for your mind and body with those workouts! I work out, too, and I'm pretty sure this one is beyond me but I'm going to try it. I can't wait to find out what you're doing to amuse yourself.
