Sit, lay back, sit up, stand, lift, repeat. Again. Again. Again. Whew, I did it though, lots and lots of them. Yesterday was a whole body workout, not just core. It's funny how much I have grown to love these workouts and actually look forward to them. Andre' is really fabulous too. In fact Thursday I was in the ladies card room and he walked by and brought me a glass of water! Too funny! Drink! Okay!
Then I did a half hour of pool exercise, not the full hour but it was enough. I felt wonderful when I finished too.
Now if I can just get my bee-hind to the gym on the cruise, right? That's doubtful though but we'll see. Maybe the duck will go with me. He's losing weight now too. They really do have a nice gym on the ships. You just have to GET in there. Past all the food and the cakes and the bars and the bands and the casinos and the shows and the movies.
So last night's dinner turned out to be just two of us but it was very nice, it was with a gal I really like and we talked and had a nice dinner, no drinks, just tea and dinner. Low calorie too. Every time I go there I see people I know and last night was no exception, I saw four that I knew. Summertime in West Palm Beach is like a small town really. Nice.
Nine days till cruise time.
Guess that's all I have in my brain today y'all. Have yourselves a fantastic Saturday. You know I will too!
Bee, I bet you have amazed yourself. You know you are way strong than when you first started your weigh loss journey. I am so very proud of you. You are a good role model. Blessings for a fun weekend, xoxo,Susie

ReplyDeleteI need an Andre` in my life. How very proud you must be that you're: 1) sticking to it, 2) learning to enjoy it, and 3) seeing results.
ReplyDeleteMy gym membership expires next month. I commited to 18 months and so I pay it, eve though I haven't been in about 9 months. My knee can't take it. And Peggy and I went to the gym several times on the cruises. Not that we exercised, mind you. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a brilliant day! I'll be helping out again with a dear friend who is not well at all. Cancer sucks. big hugs xoxo
Good looking photo just like I said on our phone call if you know what mean. Hubba, hubba. Ha,ha,ha
ReplyDeleteYou mean that Carnival has a GYM on their ships? ( I know I just had to say that because I doubt that I ever get to it or at least maybe pass by it. )
Have a great day my beautiful friend and remember, I'm here all day long. See ya.
Paul ( & Mary Lou )
So proud of how strong you have gotten, plus looking even better than before. Yay, you!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, my friend...
When hubby and I went on the Hawaii cruise we worked out every single day. We watched what we ate too and we did far better than usual. Yes indeed.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a great night out with your friend. Yes, you usually run into other folks you know when out. I love that too.
Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. :)
Happy Saturday, dear Bee!
ReplyDeleteExercise gets addictive:)
I'll bet you have the strongest arms!!! This is all so good for you health-wise and makes you look younger! As for the gym on the cruise? I'd pass right by and go looking for JIM instead of GYM! :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't miss summer in West Palm, but I miss it a little during the winter.
