I swear there is nothing like a Florida sky. I could just look at them all the time, one is prettier than the next.
So yesterday I won six dollars at canasta, that was a pretty good day. It was a nice game too.
Today I have Andre' waiting to beat me up a good one and then if it's not raining I have the pool and then some stuff in the manager's office to end the day. As I type this there is still no a/c in the building. I have had so many offers to stay at different friend's houses but I'll just stay home. It's really finished and it should be turned back on this morning sometime. Let's hope because Steve and Jane are coming to clean today and it needs it!
Well it's August now. The dog days of summer are upon us. Lovely aren't they? I think so but the a/c will make it easier.
That also means 2 1/2 weeks until cruise time. Yay for that, I am so glad the duck can get away for a few days. He needs it but I want it! Ha, and when didn't I get what I want I ask you? Mmmm?

That sky is gorgeous! I'm a sky watcher, too. Wish I lived on a lake because of the reflection of sky on water. Wow. The way the summer has blown by you'll be cruising before you know it!

I finally got around to doing last Sunday's NYT crossword puzzle. The clue was female ruler. Who knew the answer was "empress"? Me! I am seriously considering renting space in your cruise suitcase.
