I had so much fun I booked to go again September 29th.  This one goes to Half Moon Cay (pronounced "key") and Nassau with Monday and Tuesday being sea days.  I got a balcony cabin and I am a happy girl.  So far I am going by myself but that's okay, I know people on the ship and I make friends easily and I asked to be put at a big table in the dining room so I won't have to eat alone and I'll have a great time.

Last night I had an invitation from a neighbor to go to a local restaurant that has a piano bar in it and I had a really good time there too.  And I ran into a couple I used to know from when I worked.  I also saw the Mayor of West Palm Beach there, she seemed to be getting her groove thing on pretty good too.  I drove so I only had one drink and then switched to coffee but the liquor was flowing pretty good.  It was interesting that the crowd was both young and old and they were all up dancing and laughing.  I was dancing too.

Another evening that I didn't have to stay home and fret so that was good.  I just don't know what is wrong with me.  I never used to be this way.  I used to like certain tv shows and look forward to them, no more, now I rarely turn it on and then just to see the weather mostly.  I'm not even watching Big Brother and in fact don't even know if it's still on or over already.  I turn on music instead.

I promise to stop whining about this.  Soon.  I guess as soon as I get it figured out.  Anyway I'm sorry and it's really all good in my world.  I swam yesterday and it was sunny and lovely and there were lots of wonderful folks at the pool to talk to and I sure enjoyed that and then I came up and got most of my laundry done, I just have one small dark load left.  Not really enough to bother with actually.

Guess that's all I have in my brain for today y'all.  Hope your Sunday is totally tits.  Mine will be, I just know it!

  1. Woohoo! Another cruise booked! I've lost 4 more pounds since I've rededicated myself to dropping the other 50 pounds so I am also a happy camper this morning! I have to go shopping today for an outfit to wear to an afternoon church wedding. You know how I HATE shoppping but a very dear old friend is getting married and I cried tears of joy for the happy couple when the invitation arrived. It's a beautiful, amazing thing. So I will go to the outlet mall in Lake Park and see what I can find. Wish me luck!

Enjoy your day! big hugs xoxo

  2. The summer reruns all over TV have made watching SO boring, I don't blame you for listening to music instead. That will change soon with the fall season coming, I've been watching a lot less TV too, but I do like the voices in the house, at least in the morning and late at night.

I read an article once comparing the costs of keeping a condo compared to living on a cruise ships. It was tongue-in-cheek. I think. But if anyone would be happy doing that, it would be you.

We all have ups and downs. Don't worry about "whining." Sometimes we have to say things out loud to make them go away.

  3. I guess your cold did the trick. You suddenly got excited, went out and enjoyed yourself and even arranged another cruise. Fantastic my wonderful and lovely friend. I;m excited for you and wished that I could be with you but I'll still be with you in spirit. Happy, happy, happy for you. Maybe you know who will think about a cruise now. See ya babe.

  4. Bee, You are a people person...you would rather be with fun people having a fun time. There's nothing wrong with wanting to change your routine up a bit. It can get lonely, every evening just watching TV. Glad you had a great Saturday evening. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  6. Sounds like you are doing just fine. You'll go through many changes and it's normal. Just embrace them. I know you will. You feel what you feel and that's normal.

Way to go on booking another cruise. Perhaps when hurricane season is over you need to book a back to back cruise so you'll be gone for a couple of weeks.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. :)

  8. Yay for another cruise. I used to cruise alone before I got married. I liked it. Good way to check out, relax, and meet new people.

  9. I can't seem to watch hardly any of the TV shows Fred and I used to watch together. None of the CSI or crime shows anymore--they just creep me out with the violence. I watch my Soap during the day and usually in the evening, I am in here on my computer. Such a boring life!! and lonely
