Well I blatantly stole this off my grandson's facebook page yesterday.  He sure has grown up cute.  I just don't get to see him enough.  Not nearly enough.  And I love that he is wearing a necklace I made and sent him and he didn't know I'd see the photo so that means he really did like it.

I had a most pleasant surprise yesterday, I had a facetime call from London!  How exciting.  The world we live in today is so amazing.  Now we can not only talk to someone halfway around the world but see them at the same time.  And for free.  How the world has changed so much in so little time is beyond me.

So about the funk I was in yesterday.  Sorry.  I'll try not to do that again.  I don't do it often and it stinks when I do.  Actually I'm still in it a bit but pulling myself up as we speak.

Yesterday I had a great workout in the pool with Andre' and today is my regular gym day with him and then Friday he's coming back to the pool again so that's three sessions this week.  My weight loss has stalled again but trust me, I am on it.  Big time.

I got most of the key lime pies made too.  I even made some individual ones for poker snacks for tonight.  I still have to make one for the duck though but since I won't see him until the weekend I'll wait a bit for that.  And I didn't keep any for myself.  Promise!

Guess that's about all I have in my brain for today.  Hope your Tuesday is tits and mine too and don't forget to smile!

  1. Internet phones are awesome. Never thought I'd say that as they were bollocks when they first came out.

Now I want key lime pie again, darn it.

    big hugs xoxo

  2. Nice looking young man! Great smile, too. I love FB - it lets me keep tabs on all our grand kids (and kids). So far, none of them have blocked me! And I've discovered how well they express themselves.
I guess I'm gonna have to go in search of an Edward's Key Lime pie.
(You never need to apologize for being in a funk. You're not alone!)

  3. I'm happy that you are finally out of your funk. I can face talk to you if you had Skype which I have. That was how I spoke to my friend Al when he was in China and I can also talk to my Emily every night if she allows me. It's fantastic, no more phone calls and I could see your beautiful face.
Your grandson is a wow. I bet the girls just love him. Have a fantastic day my lovely friend. See ya.

  4. Bee, You grandson is very handsome. It is nice when we see them actually like something we make or pick out for them.LOL Hey, don't worry about those blue funk days...we all have one now and then. You are allowed some too. You are an up beat person...so I would not expect you to have the blues long. Hope today is a lot more fun. xoxo,Susie

  5. Your grandson is very cute. Okay, he's a hunk.

Great on the phone call from London. Anyone I know?

I'm glad you're feeling better today. I think we all get in a funk now and then. The key is to recognize the funk and you did.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥

  6. Buongiorno!!!
O...he is grown up very cute, and the necklace is very cute too!

    Have a great Tuesday!!!

    Big hugs, honey!

  7. Handsome Dude! Another widow friend of mine posted on my blog that she also was in the "lonely" funk--as I was too, all weekend. Weird how we go along, doing great, and then for some unknown reason, it just jumps up and grabs us by the throat. I am feeling much better today, too. It's been 2 1/2 years for me and I wonder why the grief still comes at me--so hard and real and hurts so much. Not often, but when it does---boy oh boy!

  8. We all fluctuate with the patterns of life. I so think that weather (not sure that is the right word) affects us more than we know. The ebb and flow.
When I would get like this, I liked to sit by the ocean and feel better. It has something to do with the waves and the ions (?) that the waves produce. It does something to the soul.
And you write about it anytime you feel we all need to release sometimes.

    cheers, parsnip

  9. What a cutie pie. Glad you are perked up a bit. I've enjoyed seeing the London photos.

    Big hugs, honey...

  10. Hahaha! What Sandee said. He's a cutie pie. I'll have to remember that he's your grandson. ;)

  11. Technology is awesome isn't it? I love the necklace you made for your grandson and he surely is a handsome young man.
