Cruise cake!  Yes, I am in cruise mode now, the suitcase is packed and I am ready to go.  I leave tomorrow morning because I am taking the Amtrak train to Tampa and spending the night there and getting on the Carnival Legend Sunday morning.  I have never cruised from Tampa before and I am looking forward to it.  But first today will find me at the pool.  It is warm and lovely and I am having so much fun each day now.

Today's word is ephemeral.  It means 1) beginning and ending in a day; existing only, or no longer than, a day; as, an ephemeral flower and 2) short-lived; existing or continuing for a short time only.  My sentence is... The ephemeral yellow cake with no frosting was light and fluffy and went well with the spumescent cappuccino and was well received by the entire table of ladies dining in the bistro and being waited on by the handsome waiter in the cute outfit that consisted of oblique hoochie pants and an axiomatic shirt that was just a bit too tight but none of the ladies seemed to mind because it had a grimalkin cat on the back and besides that I remembered to pee before I went so I was good to go.

Feel free to skip over the word of the day if you don't like it and I probably won't do it on the cruise anyway but for now I am having a bit of fun and you know I love to entertain myself.

Oh, yesterday when I got on the scale I was down 1.8 pounds!  Out of the clear blue sky it disappeared.  So there you go, you just never know do you?  I'll just keep on keeping on.

Have yourself a fabulous Friday.  I will too, for sure!

I'm laughing at the Hootchie pants, too.
You need to talk to your friends at Carnival and see if they can't give you a job as a hostess of fun!!!

  3. The Legend was our very first cruise ship. I thought Oh my God how big this ship is until I got on the Dream and Breeze. What a difference. Have a great cruise my beautiful, cruising friend.
