Paul asked for a new photo so this was yesterday before I got my hair done.  Strong?  I am.  Twenty six sessions, thirteen weeks done.  Weight?  The same.  The very same, maybe a pound less.  But you know what?  I stopped worrying about it.  I feel wonderful and I am healthy and strong.  How many 67 year old women can say that?  And I know Sarge is proud of what I have done.  I eat right 95% of the time and I like that too.  The photo is not retouched in any way and I had no makeup on at all.  Just moisturizer.

Next I went and got my hair done and then my trip to Costco.  I wanted a chicken and gasoline and to get my American Express rebate.  I got all of the above plus a bathing suit, shrimp, crab, roasting pans, 4 camisoles, underwear and strawberries.  I mean where can you go and get all that in one stop?  Of course I spent about a hundred bucks more than I meant to but still.

Today will find me in the card room playing canasta.  We still have no a/c but it is cool and not bothering me and I know they are going forward as fast as possible.  This is a huge job, a giant water cooler on the roof of a 21 story building.  It means cranes, city permits, shipment of the new cooler, a temporary cooler on the ground, two engineers including a structural one, lots of details.  It'll get done as soon as possible.

Have a great Saturday my friends.  I sure will too.

  1. Oh Bee you picked up some great items at Cosco. I haven't been there in years. It always seemed you had to buy the super party size of anything. So I must check and see if they have smaller sizes now.
I had a friend who swore their chickens were the best she ever had.
You are looking so fabulous !

    cheers, parsnip

  5. You look great! Remember, muscle weighs more than fat so go by how you look and feel!
I love Costco but can't get out of there for under $300. I think $550 is my personal best (excluding major purchases like tvs, etc)

  7. WOW,WOW,WOW, Bee.You are unbelievable, beautiful, 67 no way. You like you are in your late 40's early 50's. What you have done is fantastic. Charlie is looking down and just beaming at you. His smile must be a mile long. How do I know that? It's because mine is a mile long and Charlie & I feel the same.
Costco, ah yes. I like going there but I know that once I'm in the place I'll be walking out with at least $300 to $400 with stuff. It's OK because it usually last a long time.
That A/C sounds like a big thing. Oh well, you still have your pool, your pool, nice and cool water with sunshine over you. Me, I've got bitter cold, freezing temperatures, more snow and a bright sunshine. Ha,ha,ha, Have a great fantastic Saturday my wonderful and hot friend. See ya.

  8. You look excellent, dear Bee! Being strong, flexible, and healthy is wonderful, and you definitely have gained more muscle and lost fat.
Not to worry about the pounds - ask Andre. I bet your clothes are fitting you differently and you're a size smaller than before you started with him.
    Very proud of you!!!

    Keep up the good work:)

I didn't realize how much was involved in them putting in a new cooling unit. Thank goodness they are getting to it before summer!!!

  9. You do look fabulous honey. You've worked hard and it has paid off. Good for you. I remember when you rode around on your scooter. That scooter is long gone. You just don't need a scooter. You know another thing I've notices? You never mention that walking somewhere is an issue anymore. You used to long ago. Now you just go. I'm so proud of you.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥

  12. Bee!!! The first pic I ever saw of you was on a scooter. Of course you were on a cruise with Charlie and you had a smile, but nothing like the smile here. Do you watch The Biggest Loser? Their biggest transformation is their confidence, and that's what I see here. Congratulations! And can I come to your house for dinner?
