I know, stop it, right?  But it's SO beautiful!  I just can't help myself.  And these are the last ones I'll show you.  Probably.

Today is somewhat back to normal meaning I have lunch with some gal pals and canasta.  I hope I win big like maybe two bucks or something.  It's the only game I have this week so it's this one or nothing.

I hope y'all had a great day yesterday.  I did.  I had lots of phone calls from dear people in my life and a great dinner with the duck and we watched The Blues Brothers and then I came home and read a bit and did a pedi/mani so all my nails would be pretty.

You know several years ago Sarge and I learned that you really can take more than one vacation a year (thanks Dick and Sandy for that lesson) and now I want to pass it on to all of you.  If it's cold and nasty, well, get away from it for a bit.   I highly recommend coming here in case you are interested.  But one caution, you may not ever want to leave.  I don't.

Have a great day y'all.  I will too.

  1. Yup, I take more than one vacation a year. Who ever made up the one vacation a year rule anyway? Maybe it's the same people who said 'no white after labor day' and 'dessert after dinner'. Phooey on them!

    Come on two dollars!

Have a lovely Boxing Day! big hugs xoxo

  3. I hope to take one vacation in the winter and one in the summer. I woke up this morning to to a blanket of white snow. It's beautiful but it's cold outside. We had a wonderful Christmas dinner at my daughter' home. MaryLou treated to me to many wonderful gifts. Now I have 2 Cameros, one big and one small, exactly the same colour and design. I have a wonderful and thoughtful wife just like my great friend Bee. Have a fantastic day you,you know how I feel about you. See you.

  4. Our Christmas was magical. But it is nice to get back to "normal", too. It's birthday planning time and I am grateful for the distraction to get through another winter month. Seems its the hardest after the holidays to have nothing left to look forward too. I have been hinting to Hubby that I would like a weekend getaway, to photograph some winter scenery, lighthouses maybe... hopefully he can help me do that.
I am glad you had a lovely Christmas too!

  5. If we didn't have Little Bit we would travel far more than we do. We do so much boating to different destinations that we are gone more than home in the good weather, and we have some mighty fine weather here. Not so much three months out of the year, but I'll take it.

Win that two bucks today. You'll do it too.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥
