The graduation was so nice last night at the Fern House.  There were 22 graduates.  Every one of them thanked the duck as part of their speech.  Then they had a buffet with CAKE!  There is now a pastry chef in the Fern House.  A pastry chef!  And I ate a piece of it too.  With whipped cream frosting.  Luckily I did my hour in the pool so I could have it, right?

D#1 got home safely and I am so glad I got to see her.  We had a nice time.

Well it's Sunday so that means I get to see the duck again!  Two days in a row.  It's my lucky week all around.

Have a wonderful Sunday y'all.  Be well and stay safe.  I will too!

  1. Whew! What a week you had! Glad D#1 got a clean bill of health. And, Paul, if you're reading this, you're in my prayers!!!

  2. Both kids AND cake? You're a lucky woman!

And? I had pie last night.Good thing I sweated my arse off in the garage and ate super sensible all day, right?

    Big hugs xoxo

  3. How nice that the graduates showed their appreciation of the Duck.

  4. Aww, how nice for the duck to get so much praise. Much deserved. Enjoy yourself today.

    Big hugs, honey...

  5. Hi Bee. Feeling better but still weak. I can't believe how a week in the hospital makes you feel so weak. I really like your red flowers, of course I love red flowers. My two tattoos have red roses. My congratulations to the Duck. He deserves all the accolades given to him. He's worked hard.
Amazing Gracie, thank you for your prayers. Have a great day for all of you especially my wonderful friend Bee.

  6. Bee, I love the flowers in your photo. Sounds like a great time last evening. Hope you enjoy your time with the Duck today. Raining here, we could use the rain...but it didn't rain all summer and now here at festival rains. xoxo,Susie

  7. I'm so happy you got to see both your babies and have cake too. That rocks as we all know how much you love cake.

I'm also happy that Paul is feeling better.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from sunny California. :)

  8. I know that in addition to being thankful for Chuck's recovery, you must have been one proud mom to hear how he has changed 22 lives. What a wonderful thing he is doing with his life.

Paul, get strong now so you can enjoy your cruise. I have to wait until February for mine and time is dragging.

  9. You must be so proud of the Duck. He is using what was a bad situation and is now helping people! Hurrah!

you know i love comments, don't be shy! and if you are a spammer that got through, buggers to you. get a life somewhere else!
