Oh gosh it was a hot one yesterday and the pool was SO nice, clear and clean and lovely.  I got done my hour before anyone else came so that was nice.  Then the (self appointed) mayor and governor (of the pool) came and got in but by then it was time for me to leave.

I didn't do too good at poker last night so we'll just change the subject and move on.

Today I will be at my new maj game and hopefully I'll do a bit better there.  And maybe I'll get to swim when I get home if it's not too late but if so I'll be in on Thursday.

I'm starting to get excited about my upcoming cruise even though it's still over a month and a half away.  Sometimes I think the anticipation is as good as the actual event.  Naw.  I guess not.

Have a lovely Wednesday y'all and Happy New Year to all my Jewish friends!

  1. Anticipation is NOT as good. uh-uh. But it is nice once it's actually booked and it's there to look forward to. Peggy is already looking at booking another one... she'll reach Gold status on her next cruise! I have a ways to go for Platinum, but it's only $50 for Faster to the Fun so it works out!

Good luck at your game today! big hugs xoxo

  2. Buongiorno!
Have a great Wednesday, here so much to do, overall each morning I've to help hubby on his difficulties, and I've also to staytuned" with him...we suddenly have got many issues too early for his age...lot of work for all of us...especially for new meds....
Big hugs, honey...enjoy your pool...and some walks under the trees!

  3. I think the anticipation is nice, but not AS nice. And what's worse is when its all over and there's nothing left to look forward to. (darn! Preposition!)

Hope you have a great Maj game.

  5. It's a bright sunny day here in Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada. I'm hoping my friend Gerry will call to go golfing. MaryLou found out at the doctor that she has hives but doesn't know where she got them. Maybe from just being around me. Ha,ha,ha.
Today we go visit my mother. Maybe the two of us are just getting exhausted dealing with mom and need to rest more, take a couple more days off. I'm getting tired but mom is my mom. I don't know.
Have to go now. See you my lovely friend and I'm looking forward of our next cruise also. See you Bee.

  8. I always loved it when I had the pool to myself. I could just close my eyes, enjoy the peace, and tread on.
