Sorry, no makeup again.  Yesterday d#1 went to the pool with me!  Her first time out of the apartment since she came home from the hospital, almost two weeks.  Anyway of course she couldn't get in the pool but she enjoyed the lounge chair in the shade and talking to the (self appointed) governor and mayor of the pool while I did my hour of exercise.

I have been using Retinol.  Can you tell some of my wrinkles are gone?  It's working some for sure.  And Oil of Olay night cream.

Today we go see the surgeon to see about taking out some of the staples.  I don't think he'll take them all out yet, it doesn't look ready to me but then what do I know.  Oh, wait, I forgot I took that online do-it-yourself medical degree course.  Let's see if he agrees with me.

Last night I played poker and won seventy bucks!  How about that?

Have a lovely Wednesday y'all.  I'll try to do better getting around to blogs soon.

  1. Glad D#1 got to enjoy the sunshine by the pool while you went for a swim. Baby steps.

Did the Dr. agree with you? I always think its best to wait a bit longer just to make sure that everything is healed.

    ((hugs))

  7. Wow, you are really looking great even without makeup. It's wonderful knowing that d#1 is doing well. MaryLou & I are going to Costco this morning. This new car that we bought is great but we have to go and buy a used car because this Camero doesn't do well in the winter. Oh well. See you my lovely friend and you do look fantastic Bee.

  8. Going outside is a big leap from staying inside for two weeks. Way to go. I'll also bet that the staples won't all come out either. Perhaps some, but not all.

You look great without makeup. I think most people look better, but what do I know.

Way to go on winning $70 big ones.

Have a terrific day. My best to your daughter and Roche. Big hugs. ☺

  9. I never wear make-up--at my age, it just looks worse. Oil of Olay products are wonderful!!! I use the age defying moisturizer. Maybe it's time for a Life Style Lift for us? LOL

  10. Glad to know retinol is effective. You never know with beauty products what is just a gimmick.

I have been on the Bee Bandwagon one year today. On August 7, 2012 I decided to follow your example and I am thrilled to report I have lost 84 pounds. Thanks for your encouragement along the way, and your positive attitude always. Never underestimate your ability to inspire others.

  11. Did you get your retinol here or on a cruise? Just curious because I have thought of buying some in port when on a cruise. YAY for the poker win and D#1 getting out of the condo.

    Big Hugs,

    Bobbi
