Wednesday and other stuff...

Today we shall be at Dr. Wacks office early and see where to go next.  Hopefully we can have her on the mend in no time.  That would be lovely.  There will be something to be done though.

I lost thirty bucks at poker last night but I didn't play canasta so I'm even.

I have some chicken to cook tonight, last night we walked over to the club and I had an omelet.  It was really delicious, filled with fresh veggies, it was mostly egg whites with a bit of whole egg for color.  They really make you anything you want in the omelet, lots of fresh fruit on the side too.  Really nice, and a good time in the pool so I had a good day.

Anyway I am losing a little bit again, finally.  It's been 21 months on this journey, 18 months of it without my sweet Sarge.  It's actually kept me thinking about something other than loss so that's another good thing it's done.

And that, my friends, is all I know today.  Hope your Prince Spaghetti day is totally tits, mine will be but then I'll be eating chicken instead...

  1. Weight loss always seems to involve a level--what do they call it? Plateau? At least you didn't gain a whole bunch back. I hope your daughter finds some relief for her back problems. Has she tried the injections? I know you did and they seemed to work for you.

  2. You have done so very well with your weight loss Bee, I have been on the plateau for a while but started losing again now, isn't it a great feeling? I hope your daughter's back gets better soon. x

  3. When your back hurts, everything hurts. Hope the solution will be quick and sure!
You're one heckuva lady, to be able todo what you've done these past few months. You have determination which is, sadly, something I don't seem to have a lot of. Kudos, my friend!

  4. I won't be losing while I'm up here, that's for sure! I am just hoping to not gain! I am still making smoothies. I've tried a few times to make MY kind of smoothies (greens, frozen fruits, etc) but my sister's blender isn't my Vitamix blender and they just didn't work out. At all. It's only a week and it will be fine. I did finally get my sister to get down her hand weights so I can at least do my weight workout now.

Hope Dr. Wacks has some answers for D#1! big hugs xoxo

  6. Good morning Bee. MaryLou & I are going to Windsor because she has to have a bone density test. After I have to buy this thing to join with my computer with my camera. I guess my camera is old or they are making more money by just having one memory chip now.
Tomorrow we go and see the lawyer and then having a BBQ with our friends. Friday it's golfing. Finally my life is back to normal, or whatever normal is. See you my lovely friend.

PS I've lost 43 lbs thanks to you. I'm feeling so good.

  8. I weigh what I did when you saw me last. It's where my body likes to be so I just let it be. I'm glad you're losing again. Good for you.

Now I'm hungry for an omelet filled with veggies. I'll take that fresh fruit too.

Have a fabulous day honey and let us know what happened at Dr. Wacks office. Big hugs. ☺

  9. The orchid looks gorgeous! How lovely that it is blooming again!

The omelet sounded good! How often can you go there for them?

Hope that Dr. Wacks has exactly the correct solution today.

Glad that your discipline and focus with losing weight has helped a wee bit with taking your mind off the loneliness/ache of being a widow. You will always remember Charlie, you will always love him, and I am glad that you 'talk' to him on occasion, because I know that he can hear you in Soul form.

    (hugs)

  11. Mine has dragged (by no fault of my own), but was surprised to have two pounds shaved off this week. Moving forward. I hope that D#1's issue can be healed with minimal invasion.

I like my eggs with a little feta, green chiles, and some spinach. Sometimes I do two whites and one whole egg. Just to get it going. I scramble mine (no butter/oil), though. I can never get a good omelet going.

Hugs on missing Charlie. I miss his one-liner comments and his signature "Holy crap!"
