Well today is Sunday as we all know so that will have me grocery shopping and hopefully swimming in the afternoon.
The chandelier for the little bathroom came in the mail yesterday and I have parts of it all over the dining room table. First I put the arms on upside down, then I put some other parts on wrong, I am a mess. Jane is coming by today to bring the bedroom pillows and I'll show it to her and see what she thinks. I should have never tried to do this without her, I just have no sense for putting stuff together. The maintenance man is going to install it for me. Oh dear, I should have had her take care of it.
Have you tried the new McDonald's southwest salad with grilled chicken? I am not a big fan of fast food any more but I was so hungry last night on my way home from the Fern House, it was after 9:00 and I had not had dinner yet. Well I looked at the nutrition before I ordered it and with the dressing it is only 390 calories and it is delicious. I think that will be my new "emergency go-to" fast food choice now. Everyone needs something on their list for when they are out and about and have the hunger pains happening.
Have a great day y'all. I know I will too...
I hope you figure out the chandelier.
ReplyDeleteMy emergency fast food place is Kentucky Fried Chicken. I can have a grilled chicken breast plus a side of corn and green beans for under 350 calories (7g of fat). Plus I love it!! KFC is really the only fast food place I really like... although like you, I do like some of the salads out there. You just have to watch the croutons and dressings. Some salads can be surprisingly fattening!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the light! You maybe should have used Sarge's butter knife! haha!
Have a mighty yayful day, my friend! big hugs xoxo
I hope Jane can put the chandelier together for you, if not maybe the maintenance man will. :)
ReplyDeleteI've not been to McDonald's in years and years. We don't do very much fast food around here. I'm glad you found a great salad that fits for you. That rocks, and being it was delicious that rocks even more.
ReplyDeleteI hope your day is filled with wonderful things. Big hugs from warm and sunny California. ☺
That's good to know. I am not a fan of fast food either, but sometimes it is needed.
ReplyDeleteAlmost home. Big hugs, honey...
It is good to have an emergency fast food choice, (mine is chili.) I avoid McDonald's now because I don't want to be tempted by their fries.
ReplyDeleteI see that Michael Jordan got married in Palm Beach yesterday; I'll bet the reception was incredible.
Ciao Sandy!
ReplyDeleteLately I got much pain at my knee, and today it was very bad...
I hope I get better, but I fear that age plays a big role, and I have to stay in bed or sitting.
Lately there are several health problems in my house, I apologize for the inaction by the comments!
I wish you an amazing Sunday afternoon!
Big hugs, honey!
Bee, You are so good at making your diet work...I think you could eat anywhere and find something. If you know the rules for size and put it on the side. You know dressings, condiments, etc. I just hate fried stuff mostly. Hope you are having nice weather.. it rained here and it's chilly. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip about that salad. Good to know there's another healthy fast choice. I would hate to try to put a chandelier together but I'm sure it will be beautiful when it's done. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteBee, thank you so much for that tip. We avoid fast food, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, especially when short on time. You should be proud of walking in there and finding a good choice. Most (okay, me) would have caved to the fries.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the McD's tip! We let megan get a happy meal once or twice a week, so its great ot know there's something there I can have too! I do love their new egg white delight breakfast sandwhich! Taste too good to be semi healthly! Which is a great WIN.
ReplyDeleteCiao!!!
ReplyDeleteI think my problem in the family let me write silly things (ciao Sandy!!!)...sorry....
I hope Jane could help you!
Big hugs, honey!
