I still don't have any art on the walls in the bedroom but that is going to change soon I understand. I also decided to have a runner made for the bottom of the bed in the same fabric since I have some left. I know you can see where the two mattresses meet but can't really do anything about that because the beds go up and down individually and I need to separate them when D#1 comes to visit and all, so it is what it is and they are so comfortable I wouldn't change them anyway. (Was that a run-on sentence?) Anyway I kind of thought the runner would hide a bit of the beds separation.
And yesterday morning I got up as usual and got on the scale and I dropped TWO WHOLE POUNDS!!! Well if THAT didn't make my day nothing ever will I tell you.
I lost at poker but not too much but after that number on the scale nothing could make me upset! Oh, and I got four aces one hand! So when that happens it's called a "high hand" and everyone had to give me three extra dollars. (That is a table rule.) And I still managed to lose! ha ha Anyway it was a fun evening and I didn't lose too much.
Today is MahJong and lunch with my favorite gals. Hope your day is as good as mine!
I would love to have adjustable beds but I love my Sealy Posturpedic mattress and won't give it up for love nor money. If you want to hide where the beds come together I can send 3 cats right over... you'll never see the top of the bed again. srsly.
ReplyDeleteHave a fab day with your mahjong gals! big hugs xoxo
ROFL! @ Barb's fix for the bed line.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 2 lbs. I won't say what I've gained this year. It's not pretty, and I am NOT happy with myself. The weather needs to break so I can walk, the food needs to stop falling into my mouth... and most importantly, this girl needs to stop making excuses!!!!!!!!!
First - CONGRATULATIONS on losing 2lb! YAY!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to have the runner for the bed, it looks lovely and I love the fabric.
Bee, I really like the bedroom. It is very pretty. You just go girl on that old scale, so proud of you. Enjoy today,it's the first day of Spring.Yippee.xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty, happy, "in the pink" bedroom! Looking at the picture makes me smile, and I wouldn't worry about the line between the mattresses one bit. I wouldn't have even noticed it if you had not mentioned it. It works like you want it to, so it is perfect. And congrats on the 2 lb loss, for sure! I had a similar moment when I went to Curves yesterday. FINALLY the scale is going down again. It's a great feeling. I wish I had access to your pool, but am looking forward to some water workouts this summer. :-) Have another good day today!
ReplyDeleteLose weight and lose money. Sounds interesting Bee. MaryLou is burning herself out at both ends of the wick. Yesterday she went out and had her day. Finally she gave herself a rest, went and had her hair done and went and bought herself a birthday gift. She looks great. Slowly I'm beginning to lose weight again, slowly. See you my wonderful friend.

So pretty!
ReplyDeleteWay to go on the two pounds. It takes so long sometimes. Now you have 18 pounds left I think. You can do that standing on your head.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the gals today.
Have a terrific day filled with smiles. Big hugs from rain soaked and chilly California. ☺
two pounds when you're close to your goal is HUGE. That's like 10 pounds for us fatties. Yay!
ReplyDeleteI love the bedroom! Girly and pretty!
Congrats on the 2 pounds. I wouldn't be concerned about that bed line either. Who cares? It works and looks good. So there.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, honey...
Well with all of the patterns, my eye didn't go first to the separation in the bed. I was too busy looking at your beautiful headboard and skirt. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour bedroom looks darling, incredibly welcoming and pretty. not to worry about seeing the two beds (you hardly can) it is practical when D comes to visit like you said, and yes, the runner will hide it:)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 2 pound drop!!!! Yeaaay - the metabolism is gearing back up again. Very proud of you for sticking with it and staying the course.
You have a wonderful positive attitude dear Bee. I am not always happy, I do complain a lot - and you inspire me to look at things differently bit by bit.
Thank you and hugs,
3 pounds is excellent, I'd definitely be pleased about that.
