I think my other cat was jealous so he had to get a pink collar too, his has a red heart pin on it. He's stylin' and he likes it.
Yesterday the Walmart wasn't bad at all. Didn't even have to wait in the checkout line, got right through lickity split. Don't know why but I sure did like it. Oh, and they had those chickens that I like to roast again too so I got one and put it in the oven when I got home (breast side down) and boy howdy was that good! I tossed a nice sweet potato in with it.
I also started a bit of beading again. I haven't decided where will be my "bead home" yet in the newly done apartment. I'm thinking a corner of the bedroom maybe. Times like these almost make me wish I had bought a bigger apartment but then I think I don't really need any more space for just me. Anyway I am not moving, that's for sure.
Hope your Monday and the new week bring you joy, mine will for sure.
Oh, I'm so glad you're beading again! YAY! I think you're condo is just perfect! srsly.
ReplyDeleteHave yourself a lovely day! big hugs xoxo
Nice to hear you're beading again, can't wait to see what you come up with. Your apartment is beautiful and plenty big enough I would say. :)
ReplyDeleteYay for beading again! You do beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect solution to have your bead station there in the bedroom. Enjoyed my hugs!
ReplyDeleteHave yourself a lovely Monday. Big hugs (again), honey...
I am flying back to sunny, warm Sarasota today after a wonderful week in Paris even though the weather was awful - cold, damp and snow!! I am getting out of Ottawa just in time too, snow tonight forecast for here. Can't wait to get back in the warm pool.

ReplyDeleteGood morning Bee. Not much to say right now on this Monday morning. See you.

Of course the other tiger needed a blingy collar! Looks just right. Glad the WM wasn't too crazy yesterday, and I hope you'll have a great week with lots of pool time. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteAfter Fred died, I could not crochet, cross stitch or read--for the longest time. All of a sudden, at about a year, the need to cross stitch came back, as well as the crochet. Now I am back to enjoying them once again. I think it is the whole "widow brain" fog that we live in that first year. We just can't really concentrate on something as intricate as our much loved craft. Hope you start beading and enjoy as you once did.
ReplyDeleteI love that pink collar. You'll have to do one for your pick of the litter. I'm not sure when that's going to happen, but it will happen.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a good day at Wal*Mart. It's like Costco for me. Sometimes it's just awful.
Yay on your beads. I love it that you are taking an interest in beading again. Good for you.
Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from a chilly, but sunny morning on our boat. :)
Bee, Glad you had a fast trip in/out at Walmart. It's good that you want to play with your beads again. Even if you just make one item a week...it's productive. Plus it could be things for gifts for your gal pals. Enjoy. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI was beading today too! Experimenting. Making cute straight pins for gifts. I love those times we can get in and out of the big stores. That's the way I like to shop! In, out, and done!!!!
ReplyDeleteBee,
ReplyDeleteI love the kitty bling! Might you be getting a real kitty one of these days? I also love that you are beading again. I love seeing your pretty stuff and wearing it too. Sometimes I think that maybe Bethany and I should start beading together, but I know how bad I am about starting a project and never really finishing it. Just glad you feel like doing it again. BTW, I love your orchid painting, it's so beautiful.
Big Hugs,
Bobbi
