Well welcome to Antigua...
And instead of uniformed men to take the ship's ropes and tie us (in the duck's words) there was one barefoot Rastafarian trying to catch them and his cousin in a dinghy calling him stupid... such is life from the balcony of a cruise ship.
Have a lovely day, I'll be the one at the pool...

Still better than being home... just saying! We woke to single digits again, with windchills near or below 0. I would gladly take the fueding cousins on a dock!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are having a great time. Does it have you wwanting to book another?
hahaha! Lots less pretty than St. Thomas, but you ARE still on a beautiful ship on a cruise in the Carribean. You so still win!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely swim and a nice read! big hugs xoxo
The pool is definitely the best option. I got badly stung by jellyfish at Dickinson Bay 15 months ago. When it is cold weather, the marks from the welts still show on my arms! It was known that there were jellyfish on the other side of the island, but the side we were on was supposed to be clear.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the pool!
ReplyDeleteI'll be in St. Thomas and you can have Antigua. I'm just saying. I'd be at the pool too. Doesn't look like a place that I'd want to explore.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day honey. Big hugs from cold, cloudy and about to rain California. :)
Sometimes you just need to stay on the ship. LOL. Not as pretty as St. Thomas. At all. Keep having fun. Time is flying by!
ReplyDeleteWe did a boat trip excursion that circumnavigated the entire island of Antigua. Had lunch on a beach, snorkeled, climbed on rock formations. Had a really good day there.
