St. Thomas

This harbor is the most beautiful I have seen anywhere and these photos do not do it justice. I know many of you have been here and loved it too.

This morning was John's birthday party and we raised quite a lot of money for St. Jude's and Carnival is matching our donation. Quite nice of them.

I am walking so much I can hardly believe it myself. I am having to take advil at bedtime because of my hips though. I did not get in the pool, I started to but it wasn't heated and, well, I just krapped out.

The cruise is still wonderful, all of it. Some of the best crew members I have had the pleasure of meeting. WYWH.

  1. I loved St. Thomas. It was by far my favorite island on the BC4 cruise. I could winter there with no problem at all. In fact hubby and I have talked about doing just that. Spending the month of January in St. Thomas. Excellent.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

  5. Sounds like a great trip so far. I can't imagine being the guy who has to imagine new ways to fold towels. Come to think of it, I'm not sure I'd be able to figure out how to unfold one.

Nice stories, too, about the recognition for Sarge and the lost / not-lost/ well-guess-it-was-lost-after-all camera.

But the part that may be the best is how much you seem to be enjoying your freedom from the scooter. Congratulations.

  6. Don't overdue the walking, you don't want your hip bursitis to return. I know how painful that was. Glad the cruise is wonderful.

  7. I usually take Aleve for my knee... or complain a lot. Sometimes that helps more actually. hahaha!

I can't wait to get back to the Caribbean! And cruising! I'm thrilled for you but at the same time just a bit jealous knowing that you're being rocked to sleep on the high seas... but my cruise is coming! Rock-a-bye, baby! Big hugs xoxo
