Boy howdy yesterday (a sea day) was jam packed with all kinds of activities and I must have walked the length of the ship ten or more times, no kidding. At the end I was almost back to the front of the ship from the comedy club in the far back when I realized I had lost my sail and sign card so I was tired, hot, hip hurting, but I had to go back once again. Nope, gone.
Then I had to go to guest services to report it, cancel it, have a new one made and then back to the cabin. By this time it was 10:30 and I was done, I mean stick a fork in me done.
We don't arrive in Nassau until noon so I plan on sleeping in for the first time this cruise. Well not too late because the group photo is at 9:30 and we have to get our shirts first and then go for that.
I have loved seeing everyone, really loved it but honey these old bones are exhausted. And on top of all that I missed red velvet cupcake day! That's a real pisser. Rats.
Home is going to feel really good my friends, really good!

ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Home is the best destination but we do need our adventures to truly appreciate it! Linda and I are thinking of a Western Caribbean cruise on Aug 24th... interested?
ReplyDeleteTake some Eleve or Advil or whatever makes your hips happy and have yourself a lovely day NOT going in to Nausea... I mean Nassau.
Big hugs xoxo
Aleve. But you knew that, right?
ReplyDeleteWell you're certainly getting plenty of exercise!
ReplyDeleteSorry that you missed red velvet cupcake day. I guess you will just have to go on another cruise soon!
ReplyDeleteDid they not have red velvet cupcake day this cruise? How disappointing.
ReplyDeleteYes, the cruise is wonderful, but home is more than wonderful. You'll get to rest, have your pool to yourself and all your games. You didn't get sick and that's a good thing, BUT no velvet cupcakes? Not right one bit.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)
You need a vacation to recover from your vacation. Hugs, dear.
