Bloggers Cruise 6, a recap

The duck cleans up pretty nicely.

Old "what's his name", I mean Paul!

And yes that's me in the front row.
Don't know how I managed that but I did.

So okay suitcases unpacked and put away, laundry all done, groceries bought, slept 13 hours straight last night, the floor is still rocking.  I had an absolute blast people.  An absolute blast.  I loved the ship, the people, the shows (with one exception, did not like Diva's), the food, the pool, the lanai.  The lido flowed nicely and had some exceptional food items.  The fish tacos are my new favorite food.

But now it is very good to be home.  Today the drapes will be hung and some final touches done.  More photos to follow of that.  The bedroom too, I'll take those photos when those drapes are hung.

I gained 11 pounds but I know most of it is fluid, my ankles are swollen and I'll lose all of it soon.  I did fine without the scooter and was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go.  By the end of the day I will say my hips were hurting pretty bad but two advil fixed that and I slept so good.

But there's no place like home...

  1. I'm glad you had a fabulous cruise. Good for you and Zane and I spotted you in the first row right away. I think it's all that blond hair. Yep, that's what it is.

Will await the pictures of your new digs. Can't wait.

Have a fabulous day home honey. Big hugs. :)

  4. I just got back to my pre-holidays weight! Yikes! I'm back on track again! It was rather nice sitting in the plane seat and not struggling to buckle the seat belt! Major NSV for me! Woohoo!

I said I wasn't going to do it but I did by 2 pairs of jeans before Christmas because my others were just too big. Still a long ways to go, but it is going!

I am thrilled for you that you did not need your scooter! THRILLED!

    big hugs xoxo

  5. Good morning Bee. I finally woke up from a wonderful dream and then realized it wasn't a dream. The dream was a reality which Mary Lou & I had enjoyed being on the Carnival Breeze, the Bloggers Cruise 6, John & Calvyn and you & your family. I enjoyed this cruise so much from starting to ending. I wish it could have continued but alas the beginning has to have an end. We enjoyed everything but most of all was the chance to spend time with all the bloggers but most of all was the opportunity to spend time with you my lovely friend. Maybe again in the future.

  7. Glad to hear you had a wonderful time. I agree with you about cruise weight. I also suffer with swollen ankles and put weight on during cruises, but I know it is not true weight gain as most of it is gone again within 2-3 days of being home.

  8. Welcome home Bee. I am so glad you had the best time. You'll be fine once you adjust to being on land again. Getting the laundry done is the best feeling after a trip for me. xoxo,Susie
