First of all here is your sunrise because once again I was up very early.
And here is the final green and pink wall.
And that's Jose on the ladder. He's the one that speaks English.
Today the guys will be in the bedroom painting it pink. I can visualize it all coming together now. I really am getting excited about it too.
Today is canasta and lunch with some gals. Yesterday I did good at MahJong and we had a nice time. We had to play at the club because the condo card room was getting ready for the Historian Club cocktail party (which I also attended) and I had a gin and tonic while I was at it. But I only ate the veggies and not the fried chicken wings and candy and all the other fattening stuff.
Did you know cocktail sauce is pretty good on veggies? It is. They had shrimp but I didn't eat any of that because they were the huge ones and since I am allergic to lobster I am afraid to eat them. Once in a while I will eat one or two small ones but never the large ones. Anyway I love the cocktail sauce so I had that.
And that's it from paradise for today my friends. I'll try to visit blogs soon, I have not had a spot I could really get comfortable for a few days now, I just went to bed early. Be there soon...
Very nice so far can't wait to see it when it is all done !
ReplyDeleteThe Square Ones send woofs....
cheers, parsnip
Me likey! It's light and airy and very pretty! I am looking forward to the big reveal!
ReplyDeleteI am allergic to shellfish. Period. But I do splurge once or twice a year and take my Benadryl and have sea scallops, usually in New England. It's so much better there than anywhere here down south.
Sounds like you have a lovely day ahead. Enjoy!
Big hugs xoxo
LOVE the green wall with the pink stripe and white molding! Can't even imagine how beautiful it will all be when it's done. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI like the new walls too. Green is one of my favorite colors and I love all things pink. Can't wait to see it all girlied up.
ReplyDeleteWe have a boating friend that's allergic to shell fish. She swears one day she going to go to an ER with all her friends. Have the place disinfected and then throw a shell fish party. If she gets sick she'll be right there for care. We all said we'd go with her too.
You have a terrific day. Big hugs from cold California. :)
I love eating shrimp, a lot of shrimp but since I found out the calories that they have I'm staying away. Mainly because once I eat one of them I darn well know I can't stop. I remember last year and I was eating everything and never stopping.
ReplyDeleteI love eating every time of sea creature. I've eaten small octopus, um.
Well have a great day my gorgeous friend. I'm trying to see if I can find new words to describe you, lovely Bee.
Cruisin Paul
My sons-in-law like gin. I find that amusing because I remember when my father gave it up in favor of vodka because gin was for old fogies. What goes around comes around. Fodder, perhaps, for the Historian Club?
ReplyDeleteLOVING the color combo. Will your room be that brighter color pink or a more muted tone? Call me crazy but I also love the smell of a freshly-painted room.
ReplyDeleteMom and dad were big gin drinkers. I had an overindulgence with it in college, so my stomach gets funky with just the smell of it. I like tonic water with a spritz of lime or a bit of Rose's lime juice.
Bee, So far , I love that pink and green combo. Can't wait to see it all finished. You are so good ...not eating chicken wings. I saw the photos of you and Duck...wow, you both looks so good and healthy..I just know Sarge would be popping his buttons over how well you two have done and look.xoxo,Susie

ReplyDeleteGood luck at canasta today.
I think that the colors are very fine, they look like "limoges"!!! I like them!!!
ReplyDeleteI felt not good, then I was with my grandchildren when they had the virus...it's so bad, but now I feel better, so I read and write some comments!
big hugs!
Love love love the colors you picked...can't wait to see the final results!!!
ReplyDeleteTis is gonna be BEEutiful!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, honey...
Did ya ever think that body of water looks like an alligator with its long tail towards the top of the photo and the snout towards the bottom?
ReplyDeleteJust sayin'....
I almost cooked up some shrimp for dinner tonight, but I ended up making chicken soup and apple crisp instead. I need some Old Bay before I make the shrimp.
ReplyDeleteI love that green. Very pretty. The sunrise looks stupendous! I don't get views like that in Detroit.
ReplyDeleteI like the green and pink! It reminds me of that famous designer down there ...oh, what's her name. I can't wear her clothes because her styles look like sacks on me, ...Lily Pulitzer! That's it!
ReplyDeleteOMG, shrimp is my fave. Love them. The room is looking great. I can't wait til it's finished with all your girlie touches added.
