The Emerald Princess, at sea...

Let's see where to start today... Umm, how about a sea day with no water in the pool? And when I ask if they will fill it no one knows.

Or maybe the internet kicking me offline every time and the internet dude telling me it's not their fault but rather it's my device. I dare to use apple? Yes I do, well it doesn't work on apple devices. Well I am ever so sorry but when you sold me the plan you did not state that. He actually said well we can't say that, I said well you just did now didn't you?

Or how about me writing the letter to the hotel manager about being so sick the other night? No response. None at all. I do not want anything but an acknowledgement rather than the guest services telling me that was my fault too.

Now I am RARELY a negative nellie and if you have read my blog for any amount of time you already know that but this is really bad service.

There are NO networks on the tv at all and only CNN europe so we are getting no news of any kind. This has been since day one too.

The food is very good and the waiters and cabin stewards very nice but any kind of management at all?? They need retraining. Now.

Tomorrow is the Princess Cay day and then home. And my last Princess cruise. Sorry Carnival, I strayed to try something new and different but I am ever so sorry!

And now I am off to find something lovely to entertain myself! The movie Hope Floats is playing in the theatre and I'll go there.

  2. What good is a pool on a ship at sea, if it has no water in it? That's nutz! And no, you are not negative Nellie but it sounds like they deserve the negativity. On every count - especially the internet part. Oh well, I do hope you enjoy the movie and find some fun things to do - and enjoy the company of your cruise buddy. Hugs!

  3. Oh, I haven't seen Hope Floats in a long time. I always enjoy Sandra Bullock. Well, I'm glad you tried Princess... Now I won't have to. Y'all. There's always people watching, right? I do a lot of that on my cruises. So entertaining. Especially with an umbrella drink of the day up on Lido. Just saying. Oh... I never could get my wifi working on my iPad. Managed to get a single facebook update out of my $29.95 plan. And the Carnival IT guy refused to credit it and he couldn't get it working either... except for that 1 facebook update. Bugger. That's OK... I don't really cruise to blog, now do I? I just waited for the free wifi.

Have a lovely sea day. With no water in the pool.

    Big hugs xoxo

  4. I was getting the not happy with the cruise here and there. I know you too well, and I know you're not a complainer. If you say something negative it's got to be pretty bad. I'm so sorry that management is treating you so poorly. Bye bye Princess and hello again my Carnival. Good for you honey.

Have a terrific day. Big hugs to you both. :)

  8. I can't believe that the management is so bad. We were on a RCCL cruise one time and had a bunch of issues. They kept giving us onboard credit to make it better which helped a little bit. sorry :(

  9. Bee, I am like you, I only complain when it's the worst of service .I truly hate when someone trys to make me feel as if every bad thing happening is my own darn fault. Enjoy what is left of your trip. xo, Susie

  10. So sorry that Princess isn't treating you with the respect and all guests should receive. I actually like Princess very much, but than I have not ever had the problems that you've had on any cruise line. Definitely write to them when you return home.

  11. I know something is not right if a cruise doesn't make your skirt fly up. Lucky for you, you have another one very soon to look forward to.

    Big Hugs,
