Sunday in paradise...

Oh baby the dining room chairs are back and all girled up and I love them!  So far that's all I can see but the painters are coming Monday.  Things will shape up fast after that.  It's really hard to get a photo that makes sense with all the mirrored walls but you can see what they have done to them pretty good.  And the workmanship is wonderful.

I am all unpacked and have the laundry mostly done and put away too.  I need to get a pretty nice order at the grocery store though, all I have done so far is pick up milk at Target and eat out of the pantry and freezer.

I keep reading about people baking all sorts of wonderful things but this year I'm not doing any of that.  I am back on my 1200 calories a day with a vengeance.  I knew I'd gain a bit of weight on the cruise but I did not do all that bad and gained more than I thought I would.  Plus I know how much I walked and swam.  Oh well, it'll come off again.

I haven't decided yet what to do for my Christmas gift or who will be the recipient.  It usually has something to do with a military family though.  Part of the gift is asking them to pay it forward at some time in their life.

And so that's all I have in my brain for today my friends.  I hope your Sunday is totally tits.  I know mine will be!

  3. I don't know if you cook with much salt at home, but I don't and whenever we eat out, we gain weight. I'd imagine that could explain some of your gain.

  4. It's fun watching a room take shape! I loved painting, wallpapering, etc., but I can't do it now. I even painted the entire outside of our house when we moved to Bakersfield - even up under the eaves. Boy, I couldn't make it up on the ladder these days. Cripes.
    Have a terrific Sunday!

  5. Pinking up the castle... you're off to a great start! I've been a bit self-indulgent this past week myself. Not too bad, mostly lazy. But that's OK. It's back on its way down again. I need to get to Publix for produce but hate the thought of driving way over by the mall this month! Crazy x 100 with Christmas shoppers!! Ack! I can't wait until my Publix opens. Walmart produce sucks compares to Publix. Bugger.

Have a perfect day! big hugs xoxo

  7. Well your chairs look pink. As soon as I saw them I thought of Charlie and how he must be laughing up there in heaven right now. The chairs fit the new Bee. They are fantastic just like you.
See you soon my gorgeous friend.

  9. I love those pink chairs too. All girlied up is awesome. Can't wait to see it all done. Way to go.

I'm doing laundry this morning too. It's been piling up at a rapid rate and I hate having dirty laundry.

It's hard to go on a cruise and not gain any weight. Really hard.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from cold but sunny California. :)
