Oh yeah, that what I'm talking about!

Now that's MY kind of day!  I love that it says 82 and feels like 83!  How funny is that?  So a lovely pool day finally and followed by a wonderful party.  The water was the same temperature as the air so it was really really lovely!

I think my sensible eating may go astray this week as first the Fern House Christmas dinner and party, then the poker holiday party tonight (with Chinese food!) followed by the MahJong holiday luncheon on Wednesday (with Mexican food!)!  Oy.  Anyway I will do my best through all of it and have a wonderful time with lovely friends and good cheer.  And keep exercising too.

At my table at the party there was a guy and his young son, maybe 10 or so years old.  You know me, I always chat them up.  Well this kid was adorable, quite the young man about town.  I asked him if he played sports thinking maybe baseball, football, basketball, stuff like that.  No, he said "oh yes, I play polo, croquet, and soccer".  Polo?  Okay, I guess I was chatting up a rich kid but he was still adorable.  Not snobby at all.

I got a great gift in the mail yesterday, Apple TV.  Now I have heard of this of course but I'm not exactly sure just what it is or how the heck to hook it up.  I hope someone comes to visit me soon and takes care of it!  So I told this kid about getting it and he proceeded to tell me how wonderful it is and what all it could do.  I should have brought him home with me to hook it up!

So have a wonderful Tuesday y'all.  I will too.  And I'll try not to eat too much.  I did okay at the Christmas party so I only have to get through today and tomorrow!

  6. I love the weather you have there. It's fabulous. It's going to rain here for days and days and days. Oh well.

You and the Duck look great. I can so relate to all the Christmas parties though. I'm not going to any this year. Just don't want to. They are fun, but keeping your fingers out of all that fabulous food is mighty tough. Enjoy as I know you'll jump right back on the Bee bandwagon after each party.

Haven't a clue what your new gadget is. I don't stay up on that kind of thing. Heck I can't even turn on the television. Too many remotes. So, I read or blog.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

  11. Bee, I love well behaved children. The ones who sit still at the table and aren't rude. Isn't it kind of funny they way kids know all about today's electronics.Sounds like a nice day at the pool.xoxo,Susie

  17. Hi Bee, I've got Apple TV. Love it! Our son gave it to me and, fortunately, hooked it up for me.

I'm thinking of you often these days as it's the season to be wearing my snowman earrings :-)

    Hugs,
    Dee

  18. Bee, you look fantastic in that photo! You've accomplished so much this year and I marvel at your resolve.

I'm deeply envious of your weather forecast. What I wouldn't give for just a little sunshine, let alone those temperatures!
