Last full day...

I have decided to stay on board and use the pool if there is any water in it rather than tender ashore and swim in the ocean. I am so funny about a fish touching me, I know, I know.

Yesterday I told you I was going to go watch Hope Floats but it was Hope Springs. I liked it. Then we watched the new Bourne Legacy and I didn't much like that.

And last night at dinner I was very bad, I had fettucini alfredo. And it was delicious. Now I am back to watching it and when I get home it's back on my 1200 calories a day for sure. I have walked so much though that I don't really think I have gained too much. And when I could I swam. I still can hardly believe I can walk the entire length of the ship. Now before I can go back I do have to rest a bit but still, that's a lot of walking.

Oh, and we heard there were two more dead guys but that may just be a rumor because I didn't hear them call that alpha one code any more. Given the average age of the passengers on board (103 I think) it is not surprising. But if it's true that's too bad really.

Last night we went to the production show, the last one of the cruise. The props are great, the costumes and dancing really good but the singing? Man it stinks! Ha. Anyway then we made our donation in the casino, well I did but my traveling mate won some! So since I am not finished in the casino for the cruise I can tell you I lost just over $350.00. Not too bad for ten days I suppose. Winning would have been more fun but it was still a good time.

I'll write more when I get home Friday. Thanks for coming along, hope you had some fun with me. I sure had a good time..

  2. Very pretty! The dress is nautical, quite appropriate. :)

Sorry to hear about the dead guys, maybe the bad singing did them in. Bad joke? Yeah, I thought so, but couldn't resist.

    Safe travels!

  4. You look fabulous and I'm so impressed with you walking the ship all the time and the swimming too. I knew you would. You've come such a long way.

Way to go on the Fettuccine. Why not. One meal that you really want. Why not. It's one of my favorites too. Comfort food and then some.

I'm so waiting to hear your full assessment of your cruise. I didn't think you'd care for it as much as Carnival. Well you are royalty on Carnival. Just saying.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

I had pasta last night. Ground turkey... lots of onion and garlic but no Alfredo. But still yummy!

I hope your last day is awesome. At least one of them should be, right?

    Big hugs xoxo

  9. Bee, Find out for sure about the dead guys...if you got so sick one night, maybe they did also...some people of age can't spring back from food poisoning. I would want to know. Take care of yourself. You look fabulous in the strip dress. xoxo,Susie

  10. You don't like the ship as much, but you can walk it from stem to stern. Not a bad tradeoff, all in all, is it? Time to start planning your next cruise -- now for sure Carnival should hire you!

  11. I thought the fettucine alredo was so delicious, I ordered it as an appetizer every night! The waiter would bring me a small portion and I never got tired of it all week.

  14. Your 10 days went by really fast for me! Ha!

When my cruises, she puts $100 a day in separate envelopes and calls it her "entertainment" money so you are way behind her in "entertainment" costs!

You look very cute in that little striped dress!
