Good report!

This photo is from last time but I still got a good report on my checkup yesterday.  Oh, and I weighed more in that photo too!

Holy moly it got cold!  And windy!  Yikes, I went outside expecting maybe 65 or so but that wind almost knocked me down!  I was pretty glad I wasn't wearing a skirt.

When I got done at the doc's I just came home and had a tuna sandwich and got on my robe.  It was a great day to read a good book.  I did, however, do some exercise.  So I was not a total slug.

My part-time next door neighbors are here for the winter and they have young grandchildren visiting them.  Very nice people but the children run the hallway and slam doors.  It is usually SO quiet on this floor that it startles me.  Every.  Single.  Time.  Oh well, I'll get over it.  They're not bad, just door slammers.

And so my friends, that's it from paradise for today.  Hope your Saturday is totally tits.  I know mine will be...

  1. Congratulations on the good report, Bee.
The doctor must be bragging about you to all of his other patients!

Can you say something to the grandparents about the door slamming?

  2. Hooray for another great report. I might have been a total slug yesterday. No hand weights. Not much else but work. And pizza for supper. Today is last minute getting stuff ready to go and I'm so excited that even I can't hardly stand it myself!

Have a lovely Saturday. Right after you sweetly ask your neighbors to please stop slamming doors. :)

    big hugs xoxo

  3. It must have been windy up and down the entire East Coast yesterday as I thought I was going to blow down the street on my way into work yesterday morning. It was blowing so hard that the monitors on the dispatch console kept shaking from the beating that the building was taking but as we always joke that we work in a styrofoam building, I guess that's not surprising!

Glad to hear that you got a good report from Dr. Wacks but I'm not surprised, you've been very diligent and dedicated to following your healthy eating program!

Have a lovely Saturday, hope it warms up some for you down there!

  7. It's so great hearing about your report Bee. Lets admit it that with out you many of us wouldn't have lost the weight that we have. You're an angel my fabulous friend.
I'll be going to the Verdi Club this morning to pick up some seafood antipasto for Christmas ( and anytime to eat ). Mary Lou's out for the moment and I'm by myself for now.
I tried on all my shorts that I usually wear on the cruise. Yikes, I probably have to wear a rope around me this time. Ha,ha,ha. See you Bee.

  8. Good doctors reports are always welcome. I just had my annual last week and all is well and that includes all the blood work. I'm happy about that.

Kids can wear on your last nerve sometimes, but barking dogs can really wear on your last nerve. I've got three right behind me. They don't bark all the time, but when they do.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from stormy California. :)

  10. Geez, Bee, you worked so hard your whole life to enjoy retirement. It's not okay that the grandkids slam doors. After a really busy and stressful week, last Sunday I spent the whole day in my robe watching trash TV, reading books. I admit I needed it and loved it. Hope you did too.
