Monday stuff and other stuff...

Once again it's the start of a whole new week.  Let's all make it a wonderful one!  Do something nice for someone else no matter how small.  And smile!

Today we have a condo meeting about the proposed changes to the golf course again.  Lots of people are still opposed to it but some (me included) love the idea.  There will be paths where I can ride a bike and lakes where you can sit and look at the water and a huge pool, lots and lots of amenities.  And a new club house.  We'll see how it goes.  They go to planning and zoning again soon for their decision.

Yesterday I went to the pool, the air was warm and it was windy.  Well I am here to tell you that water was cold!  I mean cold!  But I got in anyway and did my water jogging.  I'll ask tomorrow if they will turn up the heater.  Either it was not on or it's set way too low (in my opinion anyway).  I got so chilled I had to come upstairs and turn my heat on to take the chill off.  Brrrr.

Thanks so much for all the good wishes yesterday.  I got through it okay.  It wasn't fun but it's over. I did talk to Sarge's friends that he always called on Veteran's Day.

Have a lovely Monday and a fabulous week.  I will too...

  1. Oh, I wish I had a bike-riding trail. I just have to ride in the street and hope everybody goes around me without hitting me. I'd love a pretty view, too!

Why don't you ask them to build you in indoor heated swimming pool? As part of the new amenities and such. You never know unless you ask!

Have a peachy keen day today. Big hugs xoxo

  4. Bee, What is with that pool heater? :)Someone must be trying to keep the electric bill low. Glad you had a nice conversation with Sarge's friends. I like to hear that others miss the ones we love. That means they are thinking of them. Enjoy yourself today. Raining here mixed with a bit of sleet. brr. xoxo, Susie

  5. My son wanted to go in the pool yesterday. I explained that native Floridians, like myself, don't go in the pool if it is under 85 degrees. He said that I am crazy. Maybe, but we never went in the pool after September or before April. Heated or not!

  6. I wore my poppy proudly when I went out yesterday. I thought of you yesterday Bee and while I was thinking of you Charlie was in my mind.
Today is gray, cool, rainy day. Mary Lou and I are going to go to WalMart. I need to buy new socks. Many of my old ones I threw away because they had holes in them. When I weighed myself Sunday, I neither lost nor gained weight for the week. What a bummer.
Well have a great day my beautiful friend.

Yes, get them on that pool heater. Doesn't sound like it's on to me either.

I hope you get the new digs so you'll have a place to go for walking, riding and adventure.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)
