Sunday stuff to say...

Was it a beautiful day or what?  I mean how much nicer can it get?  On the advice of Ayla and Lisa I downloaded the Outlander first book.  Sounds like something I would never have tried but I'll take their word for it and let you know when I get into it.  I have kept the other suggestions for future reads and thank you very much everyone!

When I got home from cards yesterday the sun was still out but as I walked by the pool to go upstairs and change clothes I noticed the pool was very crowded so I got my jammies instead.  I had already walked so that's okay.  I was tired and hungry anyway.  I don't enjoy getting in the pool with a bunch of other people, I already told you I am a pool hog.  Back and forth, back and forth...

Today I will be in the Walmart fighting the aisles with the other weirdos and dirtbags shoppers.  Wish me luck! Ha.

And here's hoping your Sunday is all you want it to be and more...

  2. Your comments on the Walmart made me laugh because on our recent trip to the States our tour director took us to what he called the "Jerry Springer Walmart" - you can imagine what it was like can't you? LOL

The weather here is lovely today so we're off out for lunch with friends. :)

Have a great Sunday Bee. x

  3. Hi, it's been a while since we've blogged and hadn't realised you had moved. Glad to see things are okay and that you seem well and busy. London life is good but wet - then what else would you expect from London. All the best. FAZ and family

  4. I actually love reading a good series, assuming the first book is successful in pulling me in. I hate to say goodbye to characters I've enjoyed getting to know. And if I don't have to wait a years for the next book to come out, so much the better! Let me know how you like it!

I'm a huge JRR Tolkien fan and I've just ordered the audio version of The Children of Húrin as well as the Kindle version so I can read along. I have the audio version of Tolkien's books and love listening to a British actor or narrator read me the story.

I'm still reading Gone Girl. Almost halfway through, according to Kindle. Perhaps I'll have fewer distractions today and finish it? We shall see.

Enjoy Wally World! And me, too. I'm out of produce again.

    Big hugs xoxo

  8. I'm with you on the lots of people at the pool. I'd be a pool hog too. You walked so that's good and you've got Wal*Mart today so that will be lots of walking. We don't do Wal*Mart here. You haven't lived until you see the weirdos that are in California.

Have a terrific day. Big hugs honey. :)

  11. Hope that Walmart isn't too crowded!

Am totally of the same mind when it comes to a swimming pool -love having it to myself. Much more peaceful and easier to do the walking and water aerobics!

    ((hugs))

  12. Just been to Walmart yesterday. One of the nurses at work is transferring out. I like her so much I made her a canvas of one of my photos and went to pick it up. It came out great :)
    Hugs from Ohio,

  14. Being from Georgia, maybe you've already read these, but I very much enjoyed Anne Rivers Sidons books. I especially liked 'Peachtree Road'.
