MahJong today!

Well you know how much I love my MahJong gals so Wednesdays are good days for me.  And Big Brother ends tonight and Survivor starts.  So much to do and so little time!  Ha ha...

Yesterday I didn't get in the pool after canasta even though it was beautiful outside.  My hip was hurting and I didn't want to take a chance of injuring it again so I just walked for exercise.  It feels like just a tinge of bursitis and I sure as all get out don't want that mess again!

If it isn't completely better I am going to rest it until Friday and then go easy on it in the pool, at least that's my plan.  I know things change so we'll see.  Who knows, maybe it'll be completely well!  That would be lovely.

There was no poker last night because so many of the players are out of town for the holiday so I stayed in and watched White Collar and Covert Affairs.  Boy are they good.  I love that kink of show.  I used to LOVE Alias, anyone remember that show?  It was my very favorite of all time.

Enough tv talk, let's talk about something nice.  Are you doing something nice for someone else yet this week?  It's even better if they don't know you did it.  Seriously that's a thrill for me.  Try it, it's like a game but only good comes from it.

I heard Palm Beach County is trying to get slots again.  I seriously doubt it'll happen.  They have been talking about it for years.  There is some Florida law that only lets them in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, I don't know what it is but I heard that on the news.  Palm Beach Kennel Club (where Sarge played poker) would be where they would go.  We'll see.  I really don't care one way or the other because I don't play them.  Well maybe twenty bucks on a cruise but usually not.

I guess that's all I know for today.  Hope your Wednesday is as good as mine!  If so it'll be tits!

  1. I triple love White Collar! I've got Covert Affairs recorded but I haven't watched any of them yet.

Bugger about your bursitis bothering you again. My left hip and right knee are killing me... but I'm trying to ignore them.

Nothing thrilling going on here today. Although I hope for lovely orders, as you know! Those ARE thrilling for me! :)

Enjoy your MJ gals! big hugs xoxo

  4. I kinda feel sorry for the dog track, not for the dogs though, I dont really care for the sport itself. The dog track is now renting out the parking lot and providing airport shuttle. The lot is usually only a quarter full most times when I drive by. It used to be packed, and overflow parking across the street. no more buddy!! (they only have "change" now!)

  5. There are two casinos with slots within 10 minutes of my house. I love to gamble on cruises and in vegas but the casinos near me seem boring and pathetic. I guess that is a good thing.

I can't wait for big brother tonight!

  7. I was thinking about you last night and thinking you were playing poker. Thanks for clearing that up.

I sure hope you don't have bursitis again. That stuff brings tears to your eyes it hurts so bad. I hope I never get it again either.

I'm not watching any of those shows. I forget to turn on the television. A television to me is something you have to dust. That's about it.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

  8. Why don't you just sit in the pool and let your legs move your legs move a little. It may not be walking in the pool but at least you're in warm water and that should help your legs. Now who am I to tell you, one who has never had a pool but I just thought the warm water would help.
I'm really enjoying this weight loss idea Bee. You once said that only I would know when I'm ready. Well after that you and the duck and your success, it woke me up. Mary Lou and my mother are very happy with my chose. Thanks you two.

  15. I am here, Miss Bee. I have been a lazy blogger ... and a lazy visitor.
I am on the Bee Bandwagon, though. Fell off the wagon for a few days (a few days of holidays, after all!) But I picked myself off and jumped back on! My doctor told me I have another 12 or so to go to reach my goal. Can it be accomplished by my one year anniversary October 31st? That would be a lot in just over a month!

ps--I want a Mini Cooper. I am just saying.
