For those of you thinking that Dr. Green was Dr. Wacks, well this is my Dr. Wacks. I think he's the best anywhere. So what is wrong with me? A crappy summer cold. Rest in bed, lots of fluids, you know the routine. I can't get around the duck yet either because he sure doesn't want to start coughing now. He's doing pretty danged good though.
I think I have slept 22 of the last 24 hours. The only time I am up is when the phone rings. Well meaning darling friends are checking on me and offering all sorts of help but all I really need is rest. I even asked that woman I call Kaye (because that is her name) not to come today. No point in making her sick.
At least I lost the weight I gained on the cruise, right? And then some...
Get well soon, Miss Bee!
ReplyDeleteBuongiorno!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope the intensive care have helped!
(I'd have liked a photo of...Dr. Green...don't say!!!!)
Big hugs, and the best positive thoughts for you and Duck!
Turn the phone ringer down and let the answering machine take the message, call them back later.
ReplyDeleteHope your feeling better soon.
The Square Dogs are sending woofs !
cheers, parsnip
Well, I guess it is better than asthma... I wish I could catch the fever I had two years ago. Never did figure out what it was, but it lasted for two weeks and I lost 18 lbs! Just wanting you well so you can go about doing the things that make you happy!
ReplyDeleteBee, Thinking of you today and sending get well wishes. You do as the dr.says so you can be out and about soon.:):) Sick stinks all the time...hot weather seems to make it worse. xo, Susie
ReplyDeleteHope you get the rest you need and recover quickly Bee. xx
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ivana. When you are feeling all better we could use a photo of Dr. Green. Rest and hydrate.
ReplyDeleteFeel better! Summer colds are the worst.

ReplyDeletePaul

If wishes could make you well, well you would be already. Rest, rest, rest.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs for a better tomorrow, honey...
For some reason prior comment did not post -- and I tried twice, too. We can pretend I said something terribly clever then, though, can't we?
ReplyDeleteDr. Wacks may not have the cuteness of Dr. Green but he has a great smile - and even better, he takes care of YOU! I'm praying for you and sending you healing hugs. Rest and feel better - this is not the preferred way to lose weight!
ReplyDeleteI am sure Dr. Wacks is an absolute peach... but Dr. Wacks won't quite fill out a pair of slacks like Dr. Green. Just saying. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSleep and be well soon. Big hugs xoxo
Hugs and well wishes.
ReplyDeleteIf you say Dr. Wacks rocks then he rocks. Get well soon. I hate summer colds worse than anything.
ReplyDeleteBig healing hugs. :)
You must take it easy--summer colds can turn into pneumonia and you certainly don't need that!!!
ReplyDeleteMiss Bee, we're so sorry you're sick. That is not tits. :( We hope you feel lots better soon.
ReplyDeleteAwww, feel better Bee!! I am so sorry you are not well. Rest is the best thing and soon you will be all better. Thinking of you, hugs :)
ReplyDeleteNot a very fun way to diet even if it is effective!
ReplyDeletePoor Bee - having a cold sucks. Just sleep, and turn off the phone so your well meaning friends don't disturb you while your body is healing itself.
Hope that you feel better by the weekend,
((hugs))
Umhmm. Thought so. Hope you feel better, friend. Sending you healing mojo from Motown.
ReplyDeletePlease rest and get well. I do believe summer colds are the worse too. Glad your wonderful Dr Wacks is taking such good care of you. He is a peach.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Bobbi
