Today I go back to Dr. Raymond, my oncologist. She is a doll and the best. And she calls Dr. Wacks "Bobbie" and that cracks me up, I have no idea why. She is also a neighbor, she lives in one of the houses on the golf course by "Bobbie".
And this is my "Romney mail" for the past few days. Well, with the exception of the Ann Romney mail that I tossed before I brought it upstairs. Now really this is too danged much. I'm sure if I were a Democrat I'd be getting just as much from his highness. Why? Every one of them is a scare tactic and a plead for money. No thank you. Very much.
The calls have tapered off, they were driving me insane and I actually threatened one guy, told him I'd send all my money to Obama if they called me one more time and hung up on him. Now they only call every few days. I hate them all.
So yesterday after the WalMart I got in the pool and did my 30 minutes of exercise! The whole thing! It felt so good. There were a few other women out there and I talked to one of them for a while. She just got off the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Sea ( the really big one). She said she was never nickeled and dimed like that before, they charged for cupcakes, they charged for ice cream! Can you believe that? She said the food in the main dining room was not very good and there were so many pay restaurants. She won't go on it again.
There is some great tv coming back this week, White Collar, Covert Affairs, Big Brother, a bunch of stuff I like. I won't be bored. Lots of card games this week too, canasta, mahjong, and poker. I'm well enough to play and no longer contagious either. It's going to be a great week y'all! You'll see...
I am so glad you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteGood News. So happy to hear your feeling better !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
With each new photo your smile gets broader!
ReplyDeleteYou sound so much chirpier, obviously you are much better - that's good news. xx
ReplyDeleteCharging for ice cream??? Scandalous...Dick will NOT like that! BTW, this blue is a great color on you. You look great...glad you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, honey...
Buongiorno!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds you'll have a great week!
Sure, the color fits to your eyes so good!
Have a lovely Monday!
Big hus!
Such a beautiful picture of you Auntie Bees!
ReplyDeleteSending you our daily furry hug
Abby
Glad to hear you are feeling so much better! We got back yesterday to more heavy rain cold temperatures and widespread floods. I want to get back on a ship right now!!! Scandinavia was warm and sunny all week, much better than we had even dared to hope for. We ate ice cream on the ship and didn't have to pay for it. Hope they don't follow RCI and start charging for it. Good wishes for your oncologist check. I have my 6 month check at the end of the month.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are starting to feel better, hope the oncologist has nothing but smiles for you. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI am very afraid for our country. I honestly don't even feel hope that the election will bode well for us. Truly.
ReplyDelete"Free Cupcakes for everyone!" Now there is a slogan I could get behind! srsly.
So glad you're feeling up to snuff. And other stuff. :) Big hugs xoxo
I'm so happy you are feeling better. You were one sick baby for quite awhile. It's good to see you out and about.
ReplyDeleteYep all those politicians want money. I'm not getting much of anything here, but we got rid of them a long time ago. I don't subscribe to any political anything because that's the worst thing to do.
Have a terrific day. Big hugs. :)
Both S.D. and I are registered Democrats and to date, we have not received anything political in the mail-with the exception of my voter registration card (since I had to reregister when I moved here). Nor have we gotten any phone calls-though, we do not have a house line and my phone at least is registered on the do not call list.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying that as the election gets closer we won't get bombarded by political stuff, but for now we've managed not to get too overwhelmed with election crap.
It was almost 13 years between cruises for us. Previous one was Carnival, last one was Norwegian Cruise Line. There were a few things we thought odd or disappointing, but after a decade, maybe Carnival had changed also. We didn't feel nickeled and dimed, but I rarely drank Coke since that was an extra charge.
ReplyDeleteEverything about politics bothers me anymore, any and all parties.
I have received only 3 mailings from Obama.
ReplyDeleteI guess he's not as rich as Romney.
The end.
I too am bombarded daily with mail and phone calls from the Romneys. I really have had enough. I don't even answer the phone anymore. I had to block them from my email account also. I am voting for Romney, what more do they want? Oh, yeah...money! No thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are feeling better. I wonder if all of the cruises will become like that. Maybe because of bad economy? It must be catching up with them. I hope Carnival will keep its freebees :)
ReplyDeleteHugs from Ohio,
I.
I get neither mail nor phone calls and I like it just that way thank you very much. Like Barb, I am scared for our country and wishing that they'd never tossed that tea into Boston Harbor all those years ago!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you're feeling better - now go win big at some of those upcoming games you've got to look forward to!
Bee , I don't think you should ever have to pay for food on a cruise. How crazy is that getting to be. The whole fun of a cruise is paying up front and totally enjoying the trip...except for excursions ashore. Everyone will be packing a weekender outfit and protein bars.LOL Gosh do people even remember what a weekender outfit is??:):) xo, Susie
ReplyDeleteYour problem is you live in a swing state. Here in Illinois, we know the outcome of the election already; there's no need to waste money campaigning on us....
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling feisty.
Beautiful picture of you today Bee. I am looking at booking flights for BC6 and it's just making me sick. Airfare is going to cost almost $1000 for the two of us...blah. Oh well, this may be our last cruise that we need to fly to for awhile.
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs,
Bobbi
After seeing that pile, I am counting my blessings that we don't matter much and never get political mail or phone calls! I like flying under their radar!
